Adaptation is based on Hiroto Ida's humorous manga about adapting to life in an unfamiliar prefecture
The Japanese broadcast schedule has been revealed for You Don't Know Gunma Yet (known in Japan as Omae wa Mada Gunma wo Shiranai), an upcoming TV anime based on the humorous manga by Hiroto Ida about a Japanese high school student who experiences extreme culture shock when he moves from his native Chiba prefecture to the wild and wooly prefecture of Gunma.
You Don't Know Gunma Yet will broadcast according to the following schedule:
- Gunma TV: every Monday during the 20:55 time beginning on April 02, 2018.
- GYAO!: every Monday during the 21:00 time slot beginning on April 02, 2018.
- Animax: every Saturday during the 21:00 time slot beginning on April 07, 2018.
The original You Don't Know Gunma Yet manga is serialized in Shinchosa's Kurage Bunch digital manga magazine. The You Don't Know Gunma Yet TV anime is directed by Mankyu and features animation by Asahi Production. The story follows Nori Kamitsuki, a high school student whose life is turned upside down when he moves from Chiba Prefecture to Gunma Prefecture. Will Nori be able to adapt to his new home?
