"Zoids Wild" TV Anime Runs Rampant in Summer of 2018
Newest TV anime based on Takara Tomy's line of robot toys is directed by Norihiko Sutou and features animation by OLM
It's been nearly 12 years since the 2005 - 2006 TV anime Zoids: Genesis, but now Takara Tomy's venerable line of robot toys is getting another TV anime entitled Zoids Wild, which will air on MBS (Mainichi Broadcasting Network) beginning in the Summer season of 2018.
The main staff for Zoids Wild has been revealed, including:
- Director: Norihiko Sutou (Pokémon: Black and White)
- Series composition: Mitsutaka Hirota (Digimon Adventure tri, NANBAKA)
- Animation production: OLM
Additionally, a manga version of Zoids Wild will begin serialization in Shogakukan's Monthly CoroCoro Comic children's manga magazine beginning in April of 2018, and a new toy line for Zoids Wild will kick off in Japan in June of 2018.
