There’s always more fish in the sea, or in this case, more anime coming out. Upcoming fishing anime, Hokago Teibo Nisshi, on January 19, released a new key visual for the spring 2020 show being animated at Doga Kobo.

The series is centered on Hina Tsurugi, who has just moved from the city to the countryside. As an indoor-type girl, she doesn't like living things. Originally, she planned to join the handicraft club to spend a happy high school life. But after accidentally meeting with Yuuki Kuroiwa while she was out for a walk, she was forced to join the mysterious "Teibou-bu" (the embankment club) and started catching fish.

Hokago Teibo Nisshi marks the directorial debut of Takaharu Okuma (YuruYuri, Himouto! Umaru-chan sub-director), with writer Fumihiko Shimo (How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?) helming the series composition, characters designed by Katsuhiro Kumagai (Gabriel DropOut), and soundtrack composed by Miki Sakurai (The Quintessential Quintuplets).

Hokago Teibo Nisshi starts airing on Japanese TV in April 2020.
