World Trigger Anime Introduces Cast Members for Ikoma and Oji Units 

Current season adds Katsuyuki Konishi, Akira Ishida, and more

A handful of new cast members have been revealed for the second season of the World Trigger anime adaptation, filling in the roles of the Ikoma and Oji Units. Leading the charge is Katsuyuki Konishi (Takeru Noto in Fire Force) as Ikoma Unit leader Tatsuhito Ikoma, pictured above, and Akira Ishida (Kaworu Nagisa in Evangelion) as Oji Unit leader Kazuaki Oji, below.

Naomi Ozora (Chio Miyamo in Chio's School Road) as Maori Hosoi 

 

 

Oji Unit

 

Yusuke Handa (Takahiro Tamaki in Hero Bank) as Kazuki Kurauchi

 

 

Tatsumaru Tachibana (Jin Mori The God of High School) as Yutaka Kashio

 

 

Sakura Kawaguchi as Haya Kittaka

 

 

World Trigger 2nd Season is currently streaming every Saturday at 10:30am PT on Crunchyroll. Here's the series synopsis:

 

One day, a gate to another world opened in Mikado City. Invaders from another dimension, referred to thereafter as Neighbors, overran the area around the gate, leaving the city gripped by fear. However, a mysterious group suddenly appeared and repelled the Neighbors. This Border Defense Agency independently researches Neighbor technology and fights to protect this world. In a short time, they managed to build an enormous base and prepare a defensive system against the Neighbors. it's been four years since then
