All for One Gets Legendary Voice for "My Hero Academia"

Akio Ohtsuka takes on the role starting next month

A big baddie like All for One of My Hero Academia deserves a show-stopping voice. And when the villain appears in the anime adaptation next month, that's exactly what he'll have -- courtesy of legendary seiyuu Akio Ohtsuka.

Ohtsuka has played some of anime and gaming's most memorable characters: Batou in Ghost in the Shell, Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid, and the title character in Osamu Tezuka's Black Jack, just to name a few.

The voice actor is looking forward to the role, citing the excitement of matching the fervor with which Kenta Miyake portrays All Might. He also appreciates the depth the character offers and says he's been having fun recording for him.

Akio Ohtsuka begins his stint as All for One on June 2.
