Reina's Voice Revealed in Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! 2nd Character PV

Reina VA Sora Tokui: "She has a clear vision about what kind of person she wants to be."

Following the first one for the protagonist Mile, the official website for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of FUNA's comedy fantasy light novel series Watashi, Noryoku wa Heikinchi dette Ittayone!/Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! has also posted a 25-second second character PV to introduce Reina, 15-year-old hunter in the E-rank, aka "Aka no Reina/Crimson Reina." The clip introduces her anime voice by Sora Tokui (Nico Yazawa in Love Live!) for the first time.

Tokui describes her character as below:

"Reina looks reliable and capable of leading everyone.... Although she can't do it actually, she has a clear vision about what kind of person she wants to be and always tries to be so. I thought that sort of her self-awareness was wonderful. I felt a sympathy for her feeling, 'I am different from others...!," which I also had when I was young. Her straight and strong personality was cool, so I really enjoyed playing her. Of course she has a lot of cuteness, so please don't miss them, too."

And as with the Mile VA Azumi Waki, Tokui has also received a colored illustration paper of Reina drawn by the novel illustrator Itsuki Akata.

The Masahiko Ota (YuruYuri, Himouto! Umaru-chan)-directed fantasy anime is set to premiere in Japan in October 2019.
