Japanese car manufacturer Hino Motors will start streaming an original PR anime movie "Anohi no Kokoro wo Toraete" (Capturing the heart of that day) on its official YouTube channel at 15:00 on October 23 (JST) and will also screen it at the 46th Tokyo Motor Show 2019 on its following day.
The anime movie is to express a world that the future mobility "FlatFormer" that Hino Motors aims to develop exists. It is set a rural town where nature is protected and beautiful scenery is preserved using cutting-edge technologies including "FlatFormer" in the year of 20XX. Its story follows two childhood friends, Haruto and Michi, who have been separated. The tagline for the anime is: "I want to convey my emotions, no matter how far you are."
The Love Live! anime franchise's Takahiko Kyogoku is attached to direct, alongside original character designer Atsuya Uki (Cencoroll) and anime character designer/animation director Marie Tagashira (City Hunter Shinjuku Private Eyes design works). Five-member rock band Tokyo Karankoron provides their latest song "Little Miss Sunshine" released on September 4 as the anime's theme song. Sunrise works on anime production.
