New benefits will be released every other week starting November 14
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba fans in Japan who may have not seen Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba THE MOVIE Mugen Train (or seeing it for the 30th time) will be getting some new freebies when they go to the cinema! Over 4 coming weeks, 4 new pieces of exclusive merchandise will be given out, with the first gift – an A5 Illustration Card drawn by Ufotable – starting its distribution on Saturday, November 14.
The first week will see a print run of 1.5 million copies of the illustration – which might last a weekend considering Demon Slayer: Mugen Train's historic box office run. The other freebies, which start the Saturday, November 28, will be announced on the Tuesday before they're set to be given out. These will be the first gifts given out since the booklet containing the "Rengoku Episode 0" prequel manga and coloring in sheets when the film started showing in Japan on October 16.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba THE MOVIE Mugen Train opened in Japanese cinemas on October 16 and had the best opening weekend in Japanese cinema history. You can read our review of the film here. The Ufotable-produced anime film continues to adapt the manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge, which saw a TV anime series adaptation in 2019. The film is scheduled to be released in the west in early 2021. The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba TV anime series streamed on Crunchyroll as it aired.
