This anime looks like af a poor 3D version of Jojo's
The 3-d animation is awful as is the art. The sternocleidomastoid muscles in Kasumi Kenshiro neck are so massive that they appear freaky and the little girl looks like a doll. Kenshiro protects the weak and punishes the strong because he is the 62 Fist of the Blue Sky. This is about pure campiness like Jojo's. The voice acting also leaves a lot to be desired. You can pass on this one!

I love it but one thing that bugs me
I love Fist of the north star and I was happy that they were going to make Fist of the blue sky.

The GCI does not bug me like it looks good and better then berserk's CGI probably because this was made by a different Studio that did the new Netflix's Godzilla movie and that was good and I love it and it does not feel cheap.

but there is one thing that is bugging me is that it looks like the ...

    ReGenesis aka season 2
Fist of the Blue Sky (aka Soten no Ken) details the exploits of Yan Wang (Kasumi Kenshiro) as the 62nd successor to the ultimate assassin's martial arts form Fist of the North Star (Hokuto Shinkin), in pre-war 1930's Shanghai at the height of fierce in-fighting by various factions all rife with corruption, vying for control of a lawless and dangerous city.

FotBS ReGenesis is actually a sequel ...

Unwatchable for me as the framerate gives me a headache
I could only stand to watch a few minutes of this, unfortunately. This is the first anime where I've been physically unable to make it through the first episode.

The quality of the animation is about PS2 CGI... which is, ok.

However, it is animated at _maybe_ 10 FPS? It ends up being extremely, unbelievably choppy and all the close-up scenes made me ill.

If this was a proper 24 FPS... ...

    Two frames a second!?
CG shows need to get better, the fact they don't look as good needs to be supported by the amount of animation done. Such as longer more intricate fight scenes but it just doesn't happen and no matter how more detailed of a character model can be made with
CG if the animation isn't there then why bother.
But the most frustrating thing with this show in particular is frames per second it is ...

Poor frame rate, corniness, cheese, and racism.
If you need more than the title to understand why I'm giving this one star rating, I will elaborate.

First the animation. The design is amazing. They captured the anime style perfectly, down to the thick locks of hair. I also like the big, meaty hands of the men. Real working hands, broken fingers, bulging knuckles, scars and rough skin. Very detailed. However, the encoding or the rendering ...

All animes with cgi need to be one star
I'm tired of this nonsense. Crunchyroll purchases enough licensing where we should be able to make an impact. It needs to start here, with the crappy cgi they are putting into great series.

I've started sending messages to GEMBA and other companies responsible for it, I suggest you do the same. Poor cgi needs to result in one star reviews until these companies learn from their mistakes.

    Thanks for the attempt.
I'm happy to see a new Fist of the North Star title but the execution is where this anime falls flat. The computer used to develop and render the anime must not have been up to par and it shows with bad frame rates in peaceful moments and even worse frames during action scenes. Then I got to the faces for the chinese and germans O.O wow.

    CGI babies Spoiled brats
I'm gonna have to say get over the fps, racism, etc.

This type of cgi is much work in itself so imagine creating it to be 60 fps? you wanna pay for that? Get over the fps issues and just watch it.

With that said... those who watch FotNS will enjoy.

one of the best new anime
what is wrong with you people, this anime is mind blowing amazingness. if you prefer a different genre then good for, the remarks made in regards to giving this spectacular anime a bad rating are ridiculous! it's like saying 'i don't like this vampire anime, because the vampire drinks human blood' are you kidding me ? this is a hardcore martial arts anime, it would defeat the purpose if it was ...
