    Charming, absolutely charming.
A warm and fuzzy slice-of-life story about a young witch-in-training. Makoto, our heroine, moves to a new town to continue her training in the witchly arts. Black cat in tow.

If this sounds familiar, you've seen Kiki's Delivery Service. (if you haven't seen Kiki's yet, do so now, you won't regret it) The setting differs (modern day Japan, instead of late 19th century Europe) but most of the ...

    Off to a flying start
Thoroughly pleasant, slow-paced slice of lifer about a teenage witch who leaves cosmopolitan Yokohama to go live with her normal, non-witch relatives in the snowy boondocks of northern Japan. Will she make new friends and learn to fit in, in her new school? It's a light comedy, so that's a given. Friends will be made, obstacles will be overcome, a cute guy will be entranced. Etc. So far so good.

    It shows great promise
A very charming story of a young witch that has set out into the world and since she still has to finish highschool she decides to move in with her cousin. She surprises his friend and little sister with her antics and eccentricities. The setting reminds me a lot of Natsume's Book of Friends but the humor is much more pronounced and less melancholic as Natsume's.

    Really Stunning So Far
So far this is a really stunning series and it is really entertaining the humor for me is very spot on there wasn't a moment when i wasn't laughing. The animation was really good to look at as was the story being told this series is only 12 episodes and i think that's just the right amount of episodes for this series.

Animated Prozac. You could say... bewitching.
Yes, now that the obvious joke is out of the way, this anime shows a ton of promise and heart, centering around (for once) a complete family that just happens to have witches involved.
Similar to the heart and charm of Silver Spoon and Love, Chuunibyo and Other Delusions, this series is already promising a lot of exploration and family humor.
That's what really sets this anime apart. It's not ...

    I love Kiki's delivery service
    Dear Anime Santa,

Make more anime like this please.

Also please make less of the pseudo pedo anime that is all over the place now a days.

Also whatever happened to macross why can't you make more of that....with less singing.

Any way copying Myazaki is the best thing you could do. Keep up the good work.

    cheers,

A Pretty Good 'After Work' Anime
Although it's only the first episode, so I can't really give it a full review, but judging by the first episode this seems to be a promising series. Got a pretty simple but cliched set up: Girl moves from city to country, meets with fairly cool cousin who is looking after his little sister, and the childhood friend. Although, and this is something I've been arguing with people for a while, cliches ...

    Pretty Much Kiki's Delivery Service
stop me if you heard this before. 15 year old witch girl strikes out on her own with her black cat familiar in order to become a fully fledged witch, hijinks ensue.

have you seen Kiki's Delivery Service? did you enjoy the film? if you said yes to both of those, then you will probably enjoy this.

the show is beautifully animated, the backgrounds are pleasing, and the characters are extremely ...

  • Probably the best humanlike interaction I've ever seen in an anime.
The depth of the characters is something that I was really surprised by going into this anime, I wasn't expecting much but the characterization and the way that they react to one another is very realistic and it's something that isn't often portrayed well in multiple anime.

Instead of being an anime solely about witches, it's an anime about a family that just happens to contain a witch. I'd ...

  • love how adorbale it is
I love it, reminds me of kiky's delivery service ^.^ can't wait until I see more of the character developments. So far I like the fact the comedy is light and sweet. Its nice seeing how embracing and accepting some of the characters are about the witchcraft. Can't wait for more.
