    Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma
Shokugeki has a really interesting plot, but it advances incredibly too much, constantly being by TWO MINUTES OF FAN SERVICE per episode. The fan service get's me, and I get it. Due to this, The fan service peaks my curiosity and interest to an all time high. While, I get hella hype because I'm trying to understand why their clothes aren't off yet. stripping while eating their good food, If it's ...

  • Everything works perfectly
This is the first review I've written on this site after pouring hours and hours into it. This anime is fantastic. It is funny, sexy, and makes me hungry. It is therefore great for watching while I eat alone, as I typically do. The music is fun and the animation is beautiful, especially during the food porn scenes.

    Anime meet Manga done right
For those that have read the manga for this show, you won't be disappointed. The story follows along very closely, characterization is spot-on, and the voice work has the same quality you hear in your mind when you read the dialogue. This is an extremely well put together adaptation that should go the distance and then some.

  • Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma
I'll get straight to the point. I've never read the manga of this anime but, the anime itself seems promising. It's funny, interesting and different. I'm kind of a complete noob to anime but, I like this anime and the characters interest me. Soma is a pretty cool character, especially the fact that he's always pretty confident. This anime is good for those who want to try something different.

Great manga, yet even better anime!
I've been a long-time fan of Shokugeki no Soma, and thus far I have read every single manga issue. From the beginning, I told my anime and manga enthusiasts just how great the series is, and when the anime adaptation was announced, I was both really happy and really scared at the same time. I was happy because the series that I love would be turned into an anime, and thus, I would get to re-live ...

  • Intense & ridiculous!
Food Wars! has everything you love about anime and that new 'something' you're looking for to convince yourself that this show is worth the watch. If you're into action and comedy, and are familiar with anime humor and anime culture in general, then watch Food Wars!
First of all, the show is about cooking; perhaps not a first in anime, but it sure isn't overdone.
The art and animation is ...

    Not My Cup of Soup..
I watched the first episode and it left much to desire for me. Don't get me wrong, the characters are good, anime was to. The plot for me was iffy while I so badly wanted to watch fighting Foodon.

But if we basing this on stars then its 2/5 while if I had a point system it would've a hard 2 1/2 for me or a iffy 3
