Saw this last night on the Funimation forums . Apparently Microsoft is not allowing any apps to be updated (at least Funi's) . Seems they are trying to push everyone to the Xbox One S & the new Scorpio edition . I wonder if Crunchyroll was told they can no longer update their app ?

Indeed they were.

Sadly Nintendo just did the same thing for Wii.
But I still want a Wii U so I can play the Metroid Prime trilogy,Super Mario Allstars and several other old SNES/NES/Wii/Wii U games.
But when I upgrade from my Xbox 360 it won't be to Xbox One, it will be to Ps4.

I hear Sony also has a few suspicious service issues but it's a lot better than Microsoft who not only screwed me out of my xbox 360 enjoyment (They also broke Halo Reach, no copy of Halo Reach works) but they also broke my media player on my computer and the replacement I got doesn't work as well as the old Windows Media Player did.

This also may be the reason Netflix removed their app supporting 1080p on the 360 too . They gave it back , then removed it again last December , never to return . Makes sense since they couldn't support it . This is pretty crappy for Microsoft to pull this on the 360 . It's been a great media machine until they pulled Media Center from Windows 10 . I could stream movies from my PC's HDD to it and even correct the picture fit the screen . I need to test Reach to see if my copy still works . They might of broke it when they ported it to the Xbox One S . If you have the PC power , you can run them on an emulator .

Netflix works fine for me on the xbox 360, I don't really pay much attention to the quality unless it's youtube bad.
But I hope Netflix doesn't pull the plug entirely on the 360.
It's the only place I can watch Toradora!! with decent quality seeing as tho I missed out on buying it while it was available here.
I also hope that one day Netflix gets better anime shows.

It's even worse considering Sony still provides app support to the Ps3 and Ps4.
Microsoft only has 2 online activity consoles (I'm not counting pc,because if they pulled support from that the world would riot lol) and the 360 is their greatest achievement.
Pulling their support of that just tells people that they don't care and is tantamount to shooting themselves in the foot.
Hell, even the Ps2 has limited online functionality, maybe not with apps but multi player.
If Microsoft ever cancels xbox live for the 360 it will be armageddon.

I dislike playing games on my PC, so I will skip out on the emulator.
If I had the time to be gaming I would rather finish Tales of Vesperia and Star Ocean 2 and 3.

What country are you in to get Toradora ? As far as I know it was available via NF in Australia , not here in the U.S. I still use the 360 , it's hooked to my 4K TV in the man cave . I have the Xbox One S in the living room as a multimedia portal . I've never tried an emulator myself , most need some good PC horsepower to run them smoothly (which I do have) . But I sold all my PS1 & 2 games to my sister .

New Zealand.
I have to be thankful for small mercies like Netflix having Toradora.
I am so glad that I watched it, but it did lead to the startling realization that I like Romance shows.
I still use the 360 as my all purpose gaming/media device too.
I'm too poor to buy a new console (Altho I am saving for a Wii U and Ps4) and every time I go to start saving someone sells off their anime collection and I have the irrepressible urge to buy interesting shows off them.

Probably by the time you save up for that PS4 the 5 I'll be out ! Lol... If you want deals on anime , sign up to some of the email services . I added Sentai and they run deals all the time . Plus , they are dubbing more of their titles no too . I grabbed Dusk Maiden of Amnesia there on sale cheap . Funimation runs good sales also . They have better audio too . Most all their titles are 5.1 DD compared to Sentai's 2.0 . Makes a big difference on 5.1 setup . Oh , and usually Funi sells the shows in DVD/Blu-ray combo packs instead of just Blu-ray alone . Shipping might kill you though .

Funimation does not ship to NZ and neither does Sentai.
And even if they were to in the distant future the price of shipping would not only cost more than the collection itself, it would also be incredibly risky.
When I bought shows from Australia it took 5 weeks to arrive and that was after having to file for a replacement copy after the first parcel was lost in transit.
I also dislike most dubbed shows.
The only shows I can stand watching dubbed are Inuyasha, Ghost in the Shell and Pokemon.
But in the case of GitS I still prefer subbed.

The biggest problem for me is figuring out which one will be supported for the longest.
Consoles aren't cheap here.
