The thing is I have no special hate for Hillary, but I hope that after this failure that she takes a hint and goes away. I swear to all the gods that if she tries to run in 2020 I'm going to smack her.

On her book tour, she said she's "done with campaigning" from all the mind-boggling frustration over why she keeps mysteriously losing so much, and I also have a feeling it's going to take a court order for us to hold her to it.

After all the lies she has told and all the money she has pocketed from Wall Street banks how can you believe anything that she says?

Look at her track record if you still have any doubts...

Hillary is a fundamentally dishonest person.

it's funny reading through the negative reviews and how they will disappear shortly after despite being "verified purchase" reviews

It looks like they are doing the same things with reviews like with the polls (it's 92% instead of 98% though)

"Verified Purchase" simply means that they've put in for the order, does not mean that they've actually received (and read) the book.
You can purchase the book, remove your "Prime" 2-day shipping (extend it to five days), cancel your order and it will remain a "Verified Purchase".
Unfortunately, trolls and fools will always be trolls and fools.

I had heard that there's a very different take on George Orwell's 1984 in the book somewhere.

I cant imagine anyone in the entire history of our planet writing a book whose entire premise is excuses for why they failed at something, and everyone who reads it thinks its the best book ever. (5stars)

There are just as many trolls/fools giving five stars for the book as there are giving one star (if not more).
The reality is that it's an average book, at best.
The only reason it's being given one or five stars is due to emotional feelings towards Clinton herself, rather than reading the novel and giving it a fair assessment.
I've already purchased the book, read it, and put it on the bookshelf.
Not because I had any inkling of care about Clinton but because of intellectual curiosity about the animosity and fandom being at such outrageous levels.

Polls have nothing to do with this thread, unfortunately.
Perhaps learning to utilize more sources than the few that are often repeated ad nauseum would be a fundamental improvement.
I've seen that image quite a few times as an indication as to how poorly polls function; yet, the vast majority of those who use said image haven't a clue as to how polls are performed and the statistical analysis required behind it.
That's a different topic altogether, though.

The problem is that people are reviewing a book because they don't like the author, not because of the contents of the book.
This is no different than a Social Justice Warrior commenting on "The Art of the Deal" with one star stating that "Donald J. Trump has difficulty understanding how to formulate a sentence, let alone an entire novel - I can only give this one star."
Same goes for those who are "counterbalancing" by giving five stars without having read the novel, either.

so all the 5 star reviews are ALL LEGIT ? just the negative reviews are from trolls and fools ? Isn't it interesting how they only see it one way ?
