I'm talking, blood, gore, limbs being ripped apart by aliens or other weird stuff; heck even war films. Stuff that's a hard R for all the strawberry juice flying everywhere

I know Crunchyroll has King of Thorns, I remember a loooooooooong long(so damn many longs I fell asleep at the keyboard before waking up) long ass time ago there was this weird three part sci-fi anime I watched when I was...8 or so I think where there was this scene with a two guys in some sort of ship and metal tentacles sprouted from the walls and just...mauled them, eyes popped out followed by tentacles; brain matter spewed everywhere in awesome animated detail.....IT WAS AWESOME

So anything like that? No EoE doesn't count

I'm in a sci-fi mood right now so lay it on me people!

I'm not crazy I swear!

EDIT

Ah looking for Movies only people, my bad my bad! I forgot to mention that when I was typing this. I've seen Parasite, Elf Lied

The best scifi anime is Planetes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planetes , but it is not a gore fest. I think Terraformars https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terra_Formars is closer to that.

Yeah I don't know. There are some fairly gory shows here on Crunchyroll like Another, Parasyte (this one especially is amazing), and Shiki that are pretty good. The thing is that I don't know if I would call them sci-fi.

I'm pretty sure Parasyte counts since it's basically Invasion of the Body Snatchers anime version. Aside from that one I can't think of a really gory sci-fi, but I can still recommend stuff like Pyscho-Pass and any of the Gundam shows avaliable here

Blame! and Knights of Sidonia (compilation movie instead of series) are SciFi action. Not hardcore horror, though.

Galerians sounds interesting, but is on my Yet To Watch list.

There's always the "zombie-Sharknado-meets-The Thing" type: GYO Tokyo Fish Attack.

I watched Blame! last night with my surround sound, I forgot I was in my room; it was really really cool! I'll give Knights of Sidonia another watch since I never finished the second season. Never saw Galerians, gonna watch GYO Tokyo Fish Attack.

Akira (1988 film)
Baoh the Visitor (1989 OVA)
Fist of the North Star (1986 film)
Ghost in the Shell (1995 film)

Kite and Kite Liberator are on Crunchyroll, but I'm pretty sure they only have the censored versions.

Not animated, but The Machine Girl is a lot of fun.

Lily C.A.T - Gory SF OVA from the 80s.

Fist of the North Star: The Movie - Think Mad Max by way of Bruce Lee. And the martial arts used by the MC? It causes people to explode from the inside out.

Mazinkaiser SKL - You might get a kick out of this one. An OVA series put together as a movie. Over the top mecha action. Most (but not all) of the violence is directed towards giant robots and the gore tropes are switched to its robot equvilent (oil sprays replace blood sprays. Cables fall out instead of intestines.).

Post apocalypse by way of nuclear war is a SF trope. So technically it is.

Never really thought of it that way, but everyone has already seen hokuto no ken.

Saw GYO Tokyo Fish Attack last night, eeeh.......I'll read the manga because this was an odd movie.

Had put myself in the mood to watch it last night too! Good for when you want that B-rated movie binge. Manga must be just as bizarre.
