Hi guys!

I just finished watching Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga and i thought it was great!
What did you guys think? Did you prefer the ending to season 1 or season 2 better? I personally loved the ending in season 1 but i think the whole fight with Satan thing needs to hold off until a later season because who can you fight that's more powerful than Satan? And so i thought the direction in season 2 was awesome!

With Kyoto Saga released i was wondering if anyone's heard anything about a season 3? Would you like to see a season 3?

We were even lucky to get a season 2...I think it's a little too early to think about a season 3.

Yeah, give it some time before asking the question. It took five years to get season 2 out while season 1 lost steam when it went into filler territory. Anyway, it's hard to tell at this point what will happen.

I wasn't impressed with season 2, sure the artwork was better, but to conclude that the ending to season 1 never happened is sort of pointless in any second season. they got an OVA currently going on, but as far as I know there isn't any news of a season 3/4. after all, the first blue exorcist was two seasons 12 episodes apart (originally) then when the new version came out it was packed down into one season. as a bonus the manga is still ongoing.

i dont think if we will even get season 3, maybe an OVA here and there.

Season 2 brought us back to where the manga was and making things clear in the end that Rin is finally is able to control his power the blue flame..well kindoff

In a way it gives a bit of closure to the story in Rin's part but not quiet with Yukio and yes the manga is still
but who knows

Season 3 will be released in January 2019. If you y'all would have done a little research instead of just try and dishearten fellow anime lovers, you'd have found that they have had the date posted since March 2017. https://releasedatehub.com/ao-no-exorcist-season-3

Except your link is to a click bait site, thus is not a credible source.

As of yet there is no Season 3 to Blue Exorcist.

I don't really care about Blue Exorcist, but I doubt a season 3 of this series will have more than 12 episodes.

If you'd done a bit more research yourself, you would realize that as CKD-Anime stated, that is nothing but a click-bait site. They literally post articles that will show up in search results for things people are looking through so that people will click through and generate page views for their ads.

Do you honestly think that some site you've probably never heard of before would have news that mainstream anime news sites like ANN wouldn't?

If you read carefully, they even admit they don't know when a season 3 will be released (emphasis added):

Therefore, already now we can say that Ao no Exorcist Season 3 will be shot. The official release date is still unknown, but there is information that the new series will not be until January 2019.

If you read the part immediately above that, their justification that there will be a season 3 are the ratings on MAL.

I can't believe that it took 5 years for a 2nd season in the first place. So a 3rd season is questionable.
I liked the ending of the first season, but you're right, it did settle a lot for any future arcs, so it seems like the creators really wanted to end it as is. And with the reboot of the 2nd season, it seems they want to bring the story back. Let's hope they continue it c:

I honestly do hope they do what they did with Black Butler and animate all the different Arcs from the manga.
I was really annoyed that they animated season 2 at random. It just didn't fit up with season 1 and I wish they explained that to people who watch the anime only because if you jump from season 1 straight to season 2 it does not make sense what so ever.
Ending of season 1 was a train wreck of an anime and this is coming from someone who loves Ao no Exorcist. It is my favorites series, but the anime just wasn't good compared to the manga IMO, so when season 2 came out, I was super hyped.
All I can do is hope they animate more!

Because first and foremost, it isn't a credible source of truthful information. It may have some semblance of a site design that looks credible, but that does not prove anything, alongside several visual cues that differentiate from sources like Animenewsnetwork that are actually credible.

It is disturbing at how poorly people do research for confirmation before propagating this information.

Clickbait is a reference to enticing people to click on one's website articles and links utilizing inflammatory, untruthful, and other various unsavory methods in order to generate ad revenue gained with website page views.

Credible? Click the link on that page that takes you back to there home page, and you'll find the site appears to specialize in posting articles about sequels (and not just for anime or even video), whether they are announced or not.

That article was posted over a year ago, on March 17, 2017. In that interim, there has been no news about it on ANN or in the CR News section. Do you really think if this was real they would have completely missed it for over a year?

Had you ever heard of that site before you saw that link? If not, what was your criteria for dubbing it "credible"? Was it because the design of the site wasn't janky? Credibility should be established by reputation, not a site's appearance.
