Cassini recently plummeted into Saturn, ending the 20 year mission to photograph and learn about the planet and its moons.

It took some amazing pictures of its voyage, and I wanted to share them with all of you. They're the sort of pictures that really make you think, about the beauty of space, the vast sizes, and the mysteries that still stretch before us.

Hats off to Cassini, and I hope you enjoy. This is a 100 picture compilation I recently read on the New York Times.

Is it not? The beautiful rings of Saturn entwining the planet, the titanic storms slashing across the tumultuous surface like long scars, the strange and mysterious Northern Pole...and beyond that? Who knows what lies deeper beneath the clouds and storms? And more than that, Saturn's moons! What mysteries do these celestial bodies hold? Who can tell, for now! Hopefully many more missions are launched to discover just these things and more!

Space is cold. It's so crazy to think we launch these things to take such complicated paths to orbit planets.

Space is bigoted and unjustly discriminates against minority probes. #Probelivesmatter
