So, if you've seen the show and you like it then you can debate here. I decided to watch the show because the mecha designs looked aright and the story sounded decent enough. Upon watching it I was more annoyed with the show than anything else. Its the main character more and plot more than anything else. The lead protagonist is just so damn annoying. No subtlety in the slightest. If it was a character who was driven to become the best knight than it would have been a good show. But, having a foreknowledge of mecha and retaining memories of their previous life just ruins the premise. The action is passable but, the overall actions of the veterans is supremely stupid. No one ever thought to try and advance their skills and technology? I understand that there had been no progression of tech in their universe in generations but, no one had any imagination? The show to me just lacks heart. It seems like there are a lot of these types of shows popping up lately where the main character is dropped into a new magical universe and is just so bad ass that no one compares. Its always an easy victory because their the main character. The mecha designs are good I do like them but, for me beyond that I just pass on watching the show. I got through the first few episodes and gave up on it. The characters didn't seem to grow and the main character just got too annoying for me to tolerate. If this type of show is your bag go ahead and watch it. The premise sounds neat but, this one for me just doesn't execute it very well.

I've closed this because there's already a thread for discussing the show. Please post this there instead. Here's the link:
