Currently, it doesn't seem to have any licensors. Unless Sentai or anyone else gets it at some point.

Episode 15

The revels have survived the first test, but things only get tougher from hereon out as their next exam where the task is to make a noodle dish. While it sounds simple enough, the rebels go in last where there's almost no ingredients left, and on top of that, it's their turn when a blizzard strikes stopping them from getting their ingredients from outside. But Soma is resourceful as always as they use potatoes to make their noodles and with their cooking skills, that was all they needed to do to pass. It never fails to amaze just how everybody is able to get out of a bad situation, and this time it was Erina who came through, who told everybody about the properties of potatoes. But now, things are about to get tougher going up against the Elite Ten with everybody separated.

As an Irishman I feel like I need to try that ramen at least once in my life....for research purposes, of course!

I miss Erina-sensei already, but love seeing more of her being best girl already in this cour.

Dat twist at the end, although I think he might have had some Central sympathies iirc?
Rindou says they will be fair matches, so it may be the case they only need to satisfy the Elite 10 (like with the judges thus far), rather than beat them.

Pick one.

I'll just echo my comment from last week. Whether it's direct from Azami or the lecturer's trying to brown nose, the ideal fails when you have to stoop to childish behaviour. Fair is a really loose term in this story when we've seen the first year class get pitted against those in higher class years - especially when you factor in how good the council members are versus those in the same grade year.

Yeah, the rebels don't have it easy. On other hand, it's nice to see how they always come up with a solution. But that ending, though. How did HE even manage to get a "promotion"? Can't remember if he was with the rebels at all.

Also, nice to see that Erina and Ikumi got things patched up.

Love this episode especially since its a food i can eat all the time, ramen. I hope all the elite 10 lose their seat or I want to learn their motivations on going for central's boring cooking.

It feels like they planned this long ago since a lot of character relationships seem to be coming out. It's surprising how little we know about the characters considering how long they've been around and the generous amount of screen time they each get.

I let out a fangirl sigh when the episode episode ended. They've changed the focus of the characters in a big way, Soma really feels like a background character this season. I've expected some great character development for Erina but now that it's finally here I feel kinda sad, as I can feel Megumi slowly becoming just another side character. At some point I expect some romance to develop, so I'm dying to see what's going in Megumi's head. Only room for 1 best girl on this train.

The pacing is finally back to how it was at the start of the series and finally they manage to fit in a surprise, a pretty big one. Looks like trouble is brewing. Rindou vs Megumi?

Wasn't red China dress girl deemed a rebel in stage one? She wasn't in the group stage 2 despite being shown to be there in the episode, that bonkers witch chick wasn't grouped with the rebels either despite also being one last episode. Enjoying the show alot though if I had one complaint it's that with so many rebels they're still just giving spotlight to the ones who least need it too much.

Episode 16

The exams continue with Soma and Akira squaring off with Dojima being the judge, and the dish using bear meat. In preparing for the big match, he gets some assistance from Kuga, who was one of the opposition votes and thus, got dismissed from the Elite Ten. Soma had been getting the spice composition wrong seeing that he's up against the master of spices. The key to his dish comes from the meat's smelliness as he goes out to the woods to figure out how to use the smell to his advantage. Thus, Soma's plan is to make minced bear meat and spice it up with schisandra to remove the smelliness, something he learned from Hisako. Meanwhile, Hisako is going Cajun with his dish. It's going to be tough to win, but Soma certainly has a plan.

Soma looks like hes going to have a fighting chance by learning how to cook bear meat from his senpai. Hayama looks like an ass in this episode by betraying his allies to achieve his goal but he has his reasons too. Also watch until the end cuz ya know Rindo-senpai is BAE Hnhnnhnhhhhgg
