It would probably be based of a book series I am writing. Where two half demon siblings whose parents were slaughtered when they where just children have now grown up to be renegade mercenaries fighting to find the military group that killed their parents and take revenge. The characters would be mostly the same, the older brother Raven being the more obvious half demon blaming himself for not being able to give his younger sister Merissa a happy, normal life away from the violence of the world with her trying to prove she is happy enough just to have him by her side. (for deeper reasons explained later on.) The show would basically go through their life (including flashbacks to their rough past alone, outside with no real shelter) and the battles they face against a world that hates them just for being born.

This sounds a lot like Devil May Cry.

As for me, I'd make something along the lines of Black Lagoon (slice-of-life action underworld) meets Cowboy Bebop (space opera detectives) meets Outlaw Star (mostly just for the caster, tbh) meets Ghost in the Shell (psychological philosophical thriller).

As I'm sure you noticed, there's a trend of criminality. No, this does not mean I have issues. I just like seeing the 'bad guys' develop and grow. Being able to question the black/white morality thing is pretty interesting, in addition to show the depths of human depravity sort of puts things in perspective.

I'd like to see someone adapt David Eddings' Belgariad and Malloreon as anime. We're always getting Western adaptations of popular Asian works, but I think it would be more interesting the other way round.

Studio Ghibli have adapted a number of western stories; Arrietty, Tales from Earthsea and Howl's Moving Castle.

It is possible that a Japanese studio will eventually pick up his work, though I hope they steer clear of his later stories. The characters in the Elder Gods were copies of his earlier characters but with new names.

Dante and Vergil, half demon half angel siblings, Dante hunts demons who killed their mother. Both part of "The Order", a rogue vigilante organisation intent on exposing the demons and releasing the world from their control. There's also lotsa flashbacks in it.

Some ideas that I am sure have been done before but would like to see:

1. We have a lot of 'real people get trapped in a video game' stories but how about 'video game person gets trapped in real world'? Video game guy gets stuck in the real world and has to get a job, find an apartment, get a girlfriend, etc. But he is always approaching things in a video game way. Like he has has to be repeatedly reminded that hitting stuff with a sword is not a real job, breaking into people's houses and going through their drawers looking for coins is not acceptable, etc.

I'd watch that. Sounds fun.

As for me I always enjoy food anime. But Food Wars took my idea of making something like an Iron Chef anime. Maybe an Anthony Bourdain anime where a guy travels the world eating different cuisines. But have it based in the real world and not some fantasy.

I would highly recommend Full Metal Panic. While not the same in concept, the execution is exactly how I would describe it.

As for my "creation", I would go with the MC being stuck in the enviousness position of managing those would get sent to a parallel world to ensure that they don't mess with the "natural" order of said world. MC can either guide them to a new life, kill them for not listening, etc... but not send them back due to plot reasons. Romance okay, but by everything that is righteous, no harem.
