Hmm seems pretty obvious where this is going, I hope this doesn't stay predictable. Also I was hoping we'd get more of a flashback to what lead to the beginning of the first episode. Only having online game conversations is going to get old pretty fast, but that's the problem with NEET characters they don't interact with anyone :/

Well let's see how many episodes it's going to take for each of them to discover who they really are.

As an avid MMO player lots in this series I can relate to.

Extra points for the elbow-to-the-face meeting.

As an MMORPG player, I can relate so much to MoriMori. Especially that staying up part when it's 5AM. Sure is going fast though, wonder how this is going to end.

So Moriko is embarrassed by her own choices. Interesting.

It's a bit weird. I mean the episode was cute, almost inoffensively so, but you really wish they'd dig a lot deeper. Mori being a neet is a lot harsher than it would seem, as quitting a job is much more of a death sentence, especially for a 30 year old office lady who is unmarried, than you'd think. And the male MC has kind of a weird separation between his character and his personality, considering that he plays a female character who is getting a little close to a player he probably believes is male.

Im hoping the series will slow burn more of this (the dream was a nice touch of that) but I'm a little worried that it will stay at a surface cute level.

I laughed a little too hard at this part. I always felt like that while playing MMO's...like my character would be making this face.

That was a cute episode and I'm glad they met and have started talking in real life. The MMO parts are cute but it would drag on too much if they kept staying primarily in the MMO. The MC had some harsh nightmares about corporate life. Cloned faceless men in business suits jumping off a ledge.

As the other MMO veterans here have already said, there's a lot to this show that feels pretty much bang on perfect. The awkwardness of getting to know people you only know as on screen avatars and the weird lack of inhibitions that can cause. The time slipping away before you even realize it. Even the finding a place in the shared MMO world that you sort of claim as your own. Excellent stuff. Just hoping it can keep to this level. Mori is an easy front runner for best character of the season.

The love story is cute, if built a little too heavily on convenient coincidence. At the very least it doens't look like it'll meander into a love polygon and forget gaming for 10ish episodes. At least this time around it looks like the dude is only the MC's bff in two different mmos rather than her favorite game designer, game bff, and designated third wheel.

Only two episodes in and this is already one of my favorites of the season. I hope this ride continues.

Sadly it's kind of relatable too.

Female protagonist... in her thirties...

Joking aside, it's been pretty cute so far, but that's about it. I intend to keep watching, but it's looking like this'll be more of a guilty pleasure than anything particularly substantive.

I do find it funny how serious most MMO characters appear in fiction. My characters are always "characters" in that I'm deliberately screwing with people: like an evil, cow-worshiping part-demon named "Peaches."
