"You should play basketball." I get it I'm f**king tall! Why does everyone think they're the first person to say that to me?

Also people who end up writing "defiantly" in place of "definitely" it just screams laziness, just because your spell checker isn't complaining doesn't mean you can't take half a second to skim over your comment.

Oh, damn. This one. "Well then I'd appreciate if you just kept doing so."

When people try to change you not for enlightenment(yours or theirs), but just to feel better about themselves or for their own convenience alone, it would be nice to tell them to "fuck off."

If they do want to discuss those ideas for enlightenment or getting to know you, then I'm not really bothered. Personally I would welcome those ideas over that of inane small talk. When people just blather on with pleasantries that have no bearing of idea or action for you or them it can start to come at great annoyance to me. Like when people just seem to run their mouth for any meaningless passing idea that comes to mind and they just have to spit it out of their mouths.

If you don't have plans with someone and want to share an acknowledgement of each other, but have nothing meaningful to say. Just give a simple "hello" or "good to see you," and then go about your day.

"Smile." "Chill out." "Relax."

It'd be one thing if I was honestly pissed off or something, but folks only say such things to me when I'm in a pretty chill mood. Well, "chill" until they have the gall to utter those words, and worse when they are downright pushy and repeated demand that I "smile." Kind of ironic; that assumptions guarantee that I become as pissy as they mistakenly thought I was. Self-fulfilling prophecy.

Well I can hope that you're not in a work environment that demands a constant pleasant atmosphere to customers or clients. Those that do have my sympathy. Regardless, It's asking you to lie about your mood or character. Most people don't have actor in their resume and damn it if it's in their job description.

In general, I wouldn't want someone to smile just to make me happy, and I'd be less so if I knew it the case. As for the other, anger is often triggered by the feeling of control being lost. If someone is trying to take someone's autonomy of emotion away by telling someone to not be mad, then it is quite ironic, belligerent, or ignorant.

"You haven't gotten a boyfriend yet or have friends? Whats wrong with you, girl?"

To which I reply, "I don't know. You tell me." And I proceed to tell them that I'm a shy, socially anxious nerd who loves video games and anime.

And then they drop the subject and say, "Oh, I see."

or my other favorite,

"Don't be afraid to eat." I will not sabotage 2 years of hard work to look passable just to make you feel better, family members! I'm not starving. Quite the opposite. But every time I try to be good is when they jump at me with more junk food and takeout.

"What are you doing this weekend?"

Literally nothing. I'm doing nothing. How am I supposed to tell you that? Do I lie? Do I think of something stupid to do on the spot just so I don't have to say "nothing"? My life is a dumpster fire. Ask me again when I'm dead.

Them: "You look tired!"
Me: "Yeah I know. Every time I try to sleep my cat starts whispering 'kill them...kill them...kill them'. It's really stressing me out."
Them: "...."
Me: "What? Did I say something weird?"

I hate when this type of bigot is a family member and you can't tell them to their face that they are brainwashed marionettes dancing to the tune of the invisible benevolent god that wants to send the "impure, unsaved, nonreligious" individuals to suffer for all eternity in his own special torture chamber. And how they live so well (READ: They literally cannot do anything fun) according to gods laws and how they are morally and spiritually superior to anyone who enjoys their lives while still fucking alive. These are same idiots who think that they will "reap" all the pleasures and happiness of life after they are DEAD in "eternal heaven".

Is it me or should Benevolent god and Suffer for all eternity never be in the same sentence together.
