Perhaps I am one of the few to feel sympathy for Yozora. Remember she, too, is insecure. She started the neighbors club to renew her friendship with Kodaka. Yozora is frustrated since she didn't expect anybody else to want to join the club. She sees all others in the club as rivals for Kodaka even to a degree Kobato. She is especially sees Sena as her rival even before Sena joins the club. Is she perfect? No. Is anybody perfect? No. That being said I like all the characters even the foul mouthed Rikka. I just hated the way the show ended. It was obvious they expected a third cour, but alas.

Yozora became kind of difficult to like, she kind of became like the Cartman of the group.

Sena was arrogant which made her difficult to approach, but she was also really kind underneath her somewhat bitchy façade.

My favorites were Rika, Yukimura, and Kate(Maria's sister).

The worst character though wasn't Yozora, it was Kodaka.

I haven't gotten do the end yet, so I am dreading this horrible ending everyone is talking about, and I hear the Light Novel's ended poorly as well.

I want to feel sympathy for Yozora, but she and the author never give me a reason to. I want her to be something other than a foil.

If she wanted to be with Kodaka, she should just say so, and stop bullying the other members of the club.

I don't want to say Kodaka is the worst, because he never seems to want to make people feel bad, the reason Kodaka rubs me the wrong way , is because he usually just sits back and watches the bullying rarely ever raising a protest. He doesn't even correct Maria and Kobato when they start going at it. He blatantly lied to Pegasus when he denied Sena was being bullied and that he would protect her.

The fact that he blamed Sena for the incident at the pool is ridiculous too. Three boys were aggressively coming on to her, and when she denied them, they nearly punched her. Sure Kodaka stopped them, but to tell Sena that she was more to blame for the incident than they were was asinine.

Pegasus and Kodaka both just seem like they are idiots.

They are both idiots, yes. That may be the entire point of the series.

Alright, I finally got around to finishing the series.

I had been reading a lot about how horrible the ending was, but to me, there really was no ending. It was like "No Country For Old Men"

I kind of feel like the show creators anticipated there would be another season. They introduced 2 new characters who seemed like they could have fairly major roles in the last 4 episodes.

The part with Rika attacking Kodaka on the roof was just weird and unnecessary.

I would say overall I came away a little underwhelmed. It seemed like it was going for an Anime Breakfast Club vibe, but most of the characters' problems were self imposed.

I heard the author got into a dispute with the publisher and ended the series possibly prematurely, it would be great if he could get the rights back and give it a proper ending and extend the show.
