So recently I noticed that whenever I enter full screen mode or exit full screen mode, the screen bugs out and flickers, resizes up and resizes down, fades to black and then enters full screen mode properly and the same thing happens when I exit. Flickers sand does the whole bug out thing and then enters the website mode. Only difference then is that the anime freezes but the audio keeps playing. This problem has been consistent since around spring of 2017. I have the latest flash players installed, and I don't see this issue with any other streaming sites I go to.

YouTube doesn't have this problem, Hulu doesn't have this problem, Netflix doesn't have this problem. Funimation doesn't have this problem and Amazon doesn't have this problem. This constant flicker and bugged out screen got so bad once that I literally felt ill.

Has anyone else been having this problem when entering or exiting full screen mode? And will this get fixed anytime soon? I feel like a past update to the website has caused this problem. It needs to get fixed or it may cause a seizure with viewers. I doubt Crunchyroll wants as similar issue to what happened in Japan with the famous Pokemon episode that sent thousands of kids to the hospital due to seizures from flashing lights.

None of those require Flash for video anymore. The last I checked Vudu still used Flash, so that would be one of the few places where one could check if it is a CR issue under Firefox or a Flash issue under Firefox.

Yeah it's a flash issue. I believe. YouTube is being affected by the current version of Flash.

YouTube switched to defaulting to HTML5 video shortly before the end of January 15. It shouldn't be using Flash except on old browsers that lack proper HTML5 support, or where someone is using an extension to force it to do so.

I know. But when i uninstall flash i don't get video playback issues on Youtube. Maybe it's my computer, but I'm beginning to believe Flash is messing up Firefox browsing in general. I wish I could describe or show what I'm seeing on screen. This only occurs when I have flash installed.
