Not to myself but I often talk back to the characters I write about. They often get noisy and it makes things easier when I am trying to sleep.

Eh kinda, my brain thinks one persons thoughts and i speak aloud the other person -- when really it's all me. To anyone listening it sounds like a one way conversation

Yeahhh only if I'm sure I'm completely alone.

I may of had a few times where I wasn't completely alone and things got awkward real fast.

If you talk to yourself briefly, it's normal so a few lines won't hurt. I assume the most successful people talk to themselves before speaking in front of a crowd. How else will they get the confidence to speak in front of the crowd?

I also talk to myself when I find something interesting. But, not for too long.

I prefer to call it 'thinking aloud'.

Yes. It is the only way I can be certain of an intelligent conversation.

Yes I do. All the time. Some times I'm rehearsing a scene I'm writing. If its an emotional scene, you will catch me crying or getting angry. Its a good way to let my emotions out since I'm always quiet and emotionless when I'm in public.

Others I have conversations with myself in imagined situations where I manage to say something witty and funny. It doesn't work that well with people around.

I never do this in public and keep it inside my head. But the long drive to and from work is fair game for talking.

Talking out loud to myself has always been a thing for me. It's how I process information and it is fun talking to yourself out loud. Really, I dont see it as weird.

Of course I talk to myself.

If I don't, who will?
