Still no support for multiple language (all those anime are available in my language here on crunchyroll).
Still no support for offline download.

I still see no reason to buy streaming only content (that you can still remove if the license expire), and english only.

I still don't understand why even launch an incomplete version of your service on steam.

Is Knights and Magic SUPPOSED to be unavailable for purchase in the US?

But all these shows are already available on several legitimate streaming sites for free. Also, call me old fashioned, but I don't think I'm the only one who would rather put a lot of money towards a dvd/bluray set, that I really want, as opposed to unlocking a bunch of digital content that could be taken away eventually.

"- Kiss Him, Not Me! (Watamote)"

These aren't the same show?

Easy to be confused; there are two of them that got nicknamed that... This one is

Watashi ga Motete Dousunda

The one you are thinking of is:

Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui!

The Japanese title is Watashi ga Motete Dosunda, which apparently translates to What's the Point of Me Getting Popular? (vs. Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dō Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui! AKA No Matter How I Look at It, It’s You Guys' Fault I’m Not Popular!).

It seems odd that the Japanese would refer to the two shows by the same contractions, but the first word and the first 4 letters of the third word are indeed the same.

This looked interesting until I found out that most (all?) of the stuff available was only accessible via streaming. It seems pointless to buy these on Steam when they're already fully streaming accessible via subscription or free elsewhere (including CR).

I checked it out,

but there are only 4 titles available,
and they aren't even the ones from the list above.

They are:
ReLife
Bloodivores
Magical Girl Raising Project
Hitorinoshita the Outcast

Is it because of the (lack of) regional licenses?

Regional availability is the same as on Crunchyroll itself for almost all of the series.

Nice! I got New Game! S2 and completed the "set"

Edit: I should note that even though I bought shows through Steam/Crunchyroll, I'd REALLY like to see support for offline viewing.

Why would we pay good money to "buy" the same censored TV broadcast versions on Steam that we get on Crunchyroll as part of our subscription?

There's no substitute for the dvd/bluray and the extras that come with it. Plus a lot of them come with physical books/posters etc.

According to the FAQ, if I'm interpreting this correctly, they won't expire (well, as long as Steam exists, at least)...if that's true, then you will still have them even if CR's license for them ends. That seems to be the only advantage to me. Whether or not there is value in that would vary by each individual.

What am I paying for?
Purchasing anime on Steam gives you the ability to stream series through the Steam platform, whenever you want. You will have access to anime purchased on Steam without expiration.
