Clannad After Story

--The family dynamic in that story was just so touching. I mean in most anime based on ero-games you'd only see the heroine as the MC's waifu, in Clannad though Nagisa is not only Tomoya's wife, she's his savior, she's Ushio's mother, she's Sanae and Akio's daughter, she's good friends with Fuuko. Then you have Sanae be like the kind mother that Tomoya never had and Akio was the caring but goofy father that Tomoya needed. So many great characters.

The First Half of Gurren Lagann

-- The first half was very emotional to me, the second half felt kind of like a meme.

Not gonna lie, Naruto Shippuden.

I really hate that anime for the filler they subjected me to. But when it brings the feels, it brings it. Hinata in the confession episode, Naruto meeting his parents. All the heroic cool shit that goes down during fights. It's a really well made series when it comes to creating an emotional roller coaster for the audience. Helps as well that it has a good score.

Also , when you're watching something with hundreds of episodes of character development, you feel way more invested in what those characters are doing. So when someone dies or something does something really cool, or really out of character it just makes it that much more of a awesome moment.

Angel Beats all the way. I don't normally watch animes that are known to be sad but I cried far too many times while watching it.

not much for tear jerkers and have not seen many but here is a few:

Full Moon Wo Sagashite, a pre pubecent girl have to deal with things most people dont in a entire lifetime.

Clannad After Story, that one is freakin crule... if that one dont make you cry then you are a monster.

re:Zero, just give the poor guy a freakin' break man...

Sword Art Online season 1, season 2 have a moment or two but mostly cant even compare to season 1, mostly because season 2 dont realy give us much reason to care or feel anything for characters besides the ones we allready know from season 1.

this is not out yet but in season 2 of The Seven Deadly Sins there is going to be some rather nasty moments as well, manga readers probably know what moments im talking about.

Omg! I came here just to say Full Moon Wo Sagashite and Clannad!
These are the only two animes that have ever managed to make me cry. If anyone reading this thread hasn't seen them, I really recommend it.

Clannad & Clannad Afterstory

I'll be frank. I cried a total of not less than 20 times in the 47 episodes. Yes I'm a 20-year-old male, and I'm proud of crying that much.

That YouTube video has had over 9,000,000 views.
Almost all the commenters to this video said that they also cried, even many years later

Here is another song from it.

Dammit.

I don't know why I watched this scene again. It always messes me up like nothing else does. Maybe I just needed the catharsis.

Kurugaya's ending, Little Busters!
