Burger King just made an ad explaining net neutrality, and it's bloody brilliant!

Paid actors, or actual customers? Not that it makes much difference I guess, since it gets the point across. No one would stand for it if Burger King did it. So why are people letting internet/cable compaines?

Finally read about this on Wired (I'm always late to the party). Looks to me like nationalization is on the horizon

Hi, I get Crunchyroll, Hulu and Netflix’s. My provider is ATT. Since net neutrality was killed, I’ve been having playback issues when I watch Crunchyroll, but not Hulu or Netflix’s. Or youTube or any where else.

So, what could be happening is Crunchyroll is having problems, ATT is slowing down Crunchyroll or “it’s just me?”
So what I’m asking is this happing to any one else out there???

I'm having the same issue, but considering that it is Crunchyroll, who knows. I'm really only having noticable issues with Crunchyroll.

Don't wanna step on your toes too much with this, but I don't think this is the same thing people were worried about. I think it's best we actually make the distinction about what is negatively effecting the industry and what isn't. I'm completely fine with AT&T free data usage on sponsored sites Australian ISP's have actually been doing this stuff for years, a company called internode here was offering free data usage for downloading steam games and another company Telstra were offering free data usage on their sponsored websites like their inhouse streaming services.

I think where I draw the line is where those ISP's actively try to sabotage other companies by either slowing down services on competing websites or charge people for the privilege of even using competitive websites as long as those competitive services continue to remain the same with no hindrances I don't see an issue with it.

Officially is on the books now and starts in April. But some states, like NY, CA and my own state, do have legistaltion in the works to protect NN.

There's still a slight chance to stop this by getting one more GOPer to sign so this Tuesday is the Net Day of Action. CR, you should participate as well, considering that you're going to lose members once the ISPs start throttling(if they aren't already)

Feels weird knowing our internet freedom is going to be nonexistent. Less and less freedom it seems.

That will largely depend on how gradual the companies go about it, and what websites are effected the most.
