Same. I become really stupid when I'm in love and make terrible decisions all in an effort to impress the one I love. My first love was around 19 years old, and I fell for the WRONG person. She pulled me into a dark world and I did a lot of stupid/illegal things in order to win her heart. In the end, it became very obvious that she'd been using my affections for her own gains and never really felt the same way that I felt about her. I'm embarrassed to say it took me WAY too long to figure it all out and it very nearly ruined my life. A more cynical person might say she DEFINITELY ruined it, but I'm trying to be more of a cup half full kind of guy. She definitely taught me a harsh lesson about reality though.

I was 5 when I fell in love with someone for the first time. He was in the daycare with me and in my class at school. I lived in a remote area surrounded by forests and lakes, so going to a park was normal for us at daycare. There, we climbed up on a giant rock overlooking a clear lake on a bright summer day and I had my first kiss. I remember feeling nervous and excited. He ran away right after that despite being far away from anyone. It ddin't happen again, but he was the first person I felt that way about.

The first one I fell in love with was a childhood friend named Love. Yes, her name was really Love. I was around 3, 4, or 5 years old when I met this girl.

Baby don't hurt don't hurt me no more (lol sorry for the old music reference back to the question...)

I've never been in love persay more just crushes. They might've turned into love but I just shove em away until they're gone. Too much of a hassle at this age. I have more important matters plus it probably wouldn't work out anyway.

there's also the smell theory of love. This is an old article but i'm sure you can find other current articles about it or just take PSY 244 (human sexuality) class. It might just be the perfume in the end
