For exemple, if i’m currently at the most recent episode of an anime (let’s take for example Gintama episode 338)

Well i would get a notifcation on my ipad saying that episode 339 is here and ready to be watched

Tell me what you think about it !

Add it to your queue, you should get an email notification that a new episode has been released.

But what about a real notification on Ipad like any other notification, it’s not that i hate email, but idk.. it just feels weird getting an email instead of a notification

Well, you're not wrong... but I think they should concentrate on fixing all the buggy problems they already have with all the current apps before adding new features (and bugs) to any of them.

Two days after the episode airs... if you get it at all, some people don't. That feature has been badly broken here ever since I joined in 2011. That's why I posted the workaround above your post.

I don’t really know alot of stuff about programming and coding (only the basics like functions and all) but can notification (real one) can be considered as an actual new feature ? And is it this hard to implement in an app or game ? I don’t really know.

The function of notification itself, no, I get "promotional" ones on my android (amounts to CR self-advertising, and is something just sent to everyone, no decisions to make). But determining how to trigger one based on the combination of who you are, whether or not you are logged in, what's in your queue, and something that just appeared and released would be something new to the apps they have, yes. How difficult that is to do, I couldn't say; I've done some programming in my past, but I'm not an app programmer. I do think it would be a burden on their system, though, to tailor it to add potentially millions of individual user look-ups, especially seeing as how the existing email one is either late or doesn't work at all for some people.
