I have been playing video games since the NES.. my PS2 still works and i love the dashboard and settings menu clock...

the system screens for the PS2 are still my favorite looking screens to any console i have played. in the rare time i actually plug in my old PS2, i always take time to just watch the clock there...

now i can have that on my PS4
just look at this,

these people are awesome..

Here is a link to the Youtube page for the creaters of this amazing theme.

being able to get that same experience on my PS4 is like a early christmas present.

anyways, just wanted to share something i though was cool... its too bad i cannot do the same and have a Classic Xbox theme on my Xbox.

This brings back memories. Ah, the days, when i played PS2. Good times... Did anybody experience the famous "Red Screen of Death"? I don't remember that ever happening to me.

I have the same "Legacy" theme on my Playstation 4.
It's pretty neat, even though I don't particularly like the full loading sequence happening in the background.
It isn't a bad thing if you're the type that leaves your PS4 running in rest mode (as that sequence won't restart until the PS4 does).
The cool thing is the crystal clock working just like the PS2 one.

you will get the red screen when the system can't read the disc i think but that's about it..

Yep. Either that or put something else, like PC game disc.

The words that appear on startup ruin it for me. Should have gone straight to the clock.

This is/was one of my biggest annoyances with it.
But I get that they were trying to make it "authentic" in terms of the PS2 boot.

Yeah, the words are kind of annoying. Maybe this is how they should've done it?

Personally, i'll stick to PlayStation 20th Anniversary theme. So many nostalgic sounds in that one.
