I self-taught myself how to DJ. Can't scratch but I don't really want or need to anyway, doesn't suit my type of music the best.

I got a mixer and just went to town. Not a single tutorial video or glance at instruction manuals. I did have to look up some technical issues and a handful of things I couldn't figure out mechanically, but in terms of skill and technique, it came from just self-teaching and figuring things out.

No, I wish I could figure it out. I have so many ideas in my head, but can't get them out. It's awful. It's worse than creative blocks.

I've been teaching myself Japanese the last few months. So far the hard part is remembering all the kanji. There's over 2000 of them and I've only got about 400 memorized so far.

こんにちは* (close but that's how difficult kanji can be).
I can't take credit for knowing Japanese as a self-taught language, as I took four years of classes for it and continue to learn on a weekly/daily basis due to speaking to business associates and partners that are Japanese.

The majority of things I know are self-taught.
My mother taught me up to algebra when it came to mathematics.
I taught myself trigonometry, geometry, statistics, and calculus before I entered high school.
Russian, German, and Tagalog are languages that I have taught myself (exposure helped as there are plenty of people online willing to laugh at an American butchering their native language and help them learn).
I also taught myself how to cook - seeing as nobody in my family actually cooks all that well (my grandmother is cooks old-school Americana style with lard and stuff that I wouldn't necessarily say that are that delicious to me).

Cursed mobile keyboards!
I use IQQI on my Android phone and I think they released an iOS keyboard a few months ago (? I could be wrong).
It focuses mostly on emojis but it has a pretty intuitive/natural multi-language keyboard.
It's frustrating to switch between keyboards often but at this point, it's just SwiftKey (English) and IQQI (everything else).
It used to be way, way, way more difficult.
