Not huge self-taught ventures, but I did self-teach myself how to do with graphic arts and photography.

I want to teach myself way more on photography, but I kind of forgot about graphic design. I think most people self-learn when it comes to that. I've had fun playing on Adobe Photoshop for years. I never took any courses, though I regularly consulted PSDs and stuff to see what was played with and stuff, and kind of learned about what works and what doesn't that way. It's a huge program though, and there are tons of things I'd still have to learn. It's kind of the fun part of it though, there's always new stuff to learn even if you feel you have mastered the software.

Stats isn't that bad, dependent on what level
Learning how to read and apply one graph/table is like 50% of a general entry level stats class.Another 25% is memorizing and using the formulas the graph is used for.

I have trouble learning in classroom settings. Basically anything I am interested in which the last few years has been music producing in Reaper (need to improve mixing, but it is ok), learning Blender (music videos), C++ (but saying you know C++ is a loaded statement), I can do basic things with micro controllers. I wish I knew some foreign languages ):

日本語を話しますね?あなたはあなたに教えましたを言うね?「あなた」が怒らすから、言葉を 容赦するお願いします。
日本語を学んでいますが過程は遅くて大変計画的じゃないだ。
我々は私が練習するで交わしせるか?
That last part was probably awkward. Even if it’s written correctly, what I’m trying to say sounds awkward to me.

But seriously. This is the age of the internet. If you want to know something, you look it up, try it, then see what was good and bad about it and refine till you get it.

That's all learning ever really was.
