That is the low of low's right there.

Dont feel like answering the troll.

Global cooling/global warming/climate change claims:

- global cooling is happening at this rate we will go into a small ice age quick do something!!!!
- global cooling isn't happening we misinterpreted the data
- global warming is happening and at this rate the ice caps will melt and put the east coast under water. They have made this claim for decades and pushed the goal post out with "new data" to hide that their models are shit because no one on earth can accurately make a simulation that calculates all the variables on earth.
- global warming will put the east coast under water by 2010, 2020, 2030, to be determined.
- global warming will melt the northern ice caps and leave it ice free... Well the topic
- Global warming will kill off the polar bears
- Global warming is going to devistate our crop yields and cause mass starvation.
- global warming is going to cause super hurricanes the like of which we have never seen before (stronger recorded hurricanes earlier last century)
- global warming is going g to cause mass extinctions (I say humans will do that personally by destroying habitat, why I am expanding a forest preserve. Even got packs of wild turkeys now)
- heck just watch al gores movie and pay attention to his predictions and how they are wrong.

About the only thing they got right is global teams are increasing and ice levels are decreasing but they have been doing that since the last ice age so they got a prediction right that a 10 yr old or anyone who can observe basic patterns.

Does it really make sense to say that "climate science is wrong most of the time" by taking fringe opinions and saying "see! Climate science is usually wrong!"? Science is a body of knowledge, not something any one person says. If you choose to take fringe opinions as representative, you are missing the full picture. This is something which is highlighted by you bringing up global cooling. Global cooling was never the scientific consensus. It was a fairly fringe opinion that the media seized on. The scientific consensus even back then when the science was new and poorly developed was that global warming is much more likely.

Further, acting like Gore is in any way representative of the full breadth of scientific opinion is highly misleading...

I have read some pretty depressing things on the forum, but I don’t think anything can surpass the OP and others like him continuously proving they are incapable of understanding third grade level science.

Interesting way to categorize someone who asked a question you can't answer.

I'm fairly certain that there's truth to both man-made influences, as well as us still coming out of the last ice age, but people like Al Gore degrade everything into a joke. Wild claims that fail to come to fruition time and again instill great cynicism. Still, most people can agree that our climates are changing, yet constantly shitting on each other over exactly how doesn't help a damned thing.

Try telling the OP that. I don't think he got that memo.

While global warming is a huge problem exacerbated by Donald Trump's ignorance, the icecaps on the North Pole aren't going to melt that quickly. It's still a frozen tundra up there even if there isn't as much of it left as there used to be. Nonetheless, things have just been dire with the way the climate is changing.

We've probably sped it up by 50 years at most but all that has happened was suppose to happen anyways. Then one super volcano will erupt and send us into another ice age while people clamor for more global warming. Were like ants swimming in a river that is the climate.

I wish people would stop buying into these climate change red herrings and focus on real environmental issues. I've had multiple people tell me that ground water depletion, water pollution, our waste problem, and polluting the oceans doesn't matter since climate change is going to doom us and we have to do something about it. Real problems that are solvable now are being ignored for a "problem" even the "experts" say we can't do shit about anyways and who seem to be wrong all the time so who knows if anything they say is right.
