That's your response! Rotoscoping is still an art style with animators and redrawers and Aku No Hana is still considered an anime, so your point is invalid.

Plus even if it was made with dolls or claymation it still looks like complete shit compared to the manga and doesn't do it any justice art wise.

This was actually one of the few things I liked from what I thought was an otherwise boring show. There's some weird stuff like character faces appearing and disappearing the further and closer they got. But it looked different and if not for the rotoscope I would've dropped it fast. Since they traced over Japanese actors & actresses they actually looked Japanese.

Not the entire show but when Code Geass those Jack Skelington proportioned characters. It was jarring and weird.
