The second season is actually quite enjoyable, the fights are gonna be even more intense.

Really loving both opening themes as well.

Episode 11.

Not sure why they changed the ED last time, but it's nice to see the original one back in episode 11 -- and with English translation!

AHAHAHA this episode was actually hilarious. The fight been Fuu and Soran had be laughing for like 5mins and then the judge saying "We don't care what happens after this fight". Everyone's so mad at how Soran had it to easy this tournament. Fuu "Brilliant acting". Soran made it to the finals so easily while everyone had it rough. The guy with the wand kinda looks like Snape

well it is funny to see how everyone was surprised that Soran is in par against Chou Reigyu

Very good fight episode...I like it but everytime the end song comes around, it always made me crack because of Hou-nne san

I'm mostly enjoying this but I wish they wouldn't go off on those long, martial arts info dumps so often.

But Soran would have lost if Reigyou wasnt....

Update 6/2
Wow no one is watching this ?
I haven't been watching anime for the past 3-4 weeks ever since the events in the Big Island and been observing the earth seismic events.

But I woke up really early and went ahead and watched episode 18-19-20 and this show has gotten really interesting and with lots of action.

I'm still watching. I'm glad the tournament is over, but I wish the story was focusing more on Soran and Houhou. I mean, the tournament has ended, but we're back to characters having long fights with each other. There have now been 20 new episodes since the end of season 1 and we have learned absolutely nothing new about Soran or Houhou. That's kind of outrageous.

I quite enjoy the series for the action, never a dull moment. I enjoyed the tournament and then this weeks episode was really good in terms of fighting. Tenshi lives up to the hype.

For sure, if action is your thing, the show delivers. I prefer a bit more balance, however, where we'd get some action but also some actual story and character reveals. Right now it feels very repetitive to me: long fights where the combatants toss out various martial arts terms and techniques and have long discussions about them.

I agree. I've been liking a lot of the action, but it's got pretty boring the last couple of episodes and I want to get back to Soran and Houhou's stories more directly. In general this show has done a pretty good job sprinkling in story and backstory and intrigue successfully through small doses that are enough for me--until recently.

Also, Soran and Houhou are just such enjoyable characters that I find it hard to enjoy episodes without them and their antics.

That's true. I loved their "battle" during the tournament. I'd love to see more of that kind of humour.

Keep saying it but whenever someone asks my "most under rated" show this is the one I keep giving as an example. Hope there's a third season despite this.

Third season would be awesome. Some people dis the show without even watching just because it's Haoliners. Unwarranted shade.
