Nope, Crunchyroll never had it to begin with. Amazon is the one and only place for this show.

Episode 3

That moment when Akira broke her foot, that was really painful to watch. Even more so was Akira looking on from the sidelines as she definitely misses being on the track team. But at least the injury gave her something else to look forward to as Akira and Kondo are hitting it, but Kondo isn't exactly all-in with the relationship. It will be interesting to see how chemistry develops from hereon out between those two.

Episode 3

The episode starts with Akari wondering if she confessed wrong as Mr. Konodo didn't understand what she meant. After school she runs into someone from the track team and gets invited to watch over their practice. While watching them she remembers her time on the track team which lead to her accident and than the day she met Mr. Konodo. Know that she's back at work she once again confesses that she likes Mr. Konodo only to be interrupted by Yui. Since it's raining Mr. Konodo gives Akira a ride and they discuss why she likes him and how it would look if they dated. The episode ends with Mr. Konodo mentioning going on a date to see how it would look and Akira agrees.

I liked this episode a lot as we see the day that Akira got injured and that she once again confesses to Mr. Konodo. We also see that Mr. Konodo does the right thing by trying to make Akira see that liking someone older like him would look bad. He's old enough to be her father and people would look at them weird. However this is anime and Mr. Konodo mentions going on a date. Now we will see how things will go from here.

Wow, she actually confessed again and asked for a clear answer! And Kondo took her seriously and make some reasonable debating points? Good stuff!

That second time confession in the rain was amazing, and she looked great doing it. That would burn a scene into anyone's memory well.
I love her unbridled excitement on her face when shes talking with him about it

The massive age gap is real awkward (cue the focus on the under 18 sign heh), and if it were me, I'd hate the constant prejudice from society. Nevertheless, I'm very curious to see how things develop for them.

oh boi here we go again
I don't know if it's the pace of the series, but I feel like she won't stop until they get married and have 5 kids. She's so persistent.

Not that I'm complaining. He also likes her. So everything's ok. I like how this relationship is building up./purple]

Heh. Amazon drops Strike into Prime and suddenly all my simulcasts aren't in the same place anymore.

Pity the Amazon app blacks out screenshots. I'd have thought them smarter than that. I liked that scene where he said that thing.

I'm dropping this show. It is beautifully made, but the premise is too uncomfortable for me. Even if he turns her down in the end, it is still a bizarre mid-life crisis fantasy have a gorgeous 17 y.o. fall in love with you and then do the noble thing. As I said upthread -- just buy the sportscar. author-sensei.

Love is Like After the Rain ( Koi wa Ameagari no You ni) EP 3 . Raining Tears WED

The subject matter is being handled in quite a respectful way

And Wit studio is nailing it not only on the story side but the animation just adds blends in so well

Akira who is mulling over how her confession was misubderstoof by Kondo is kinda down She is stilloff from work when one of her ex track teamates ( Isshi ) runs into jher and takes her to practice for tips

Kyan (who was her best friend ) is surprised to see her As Akira watches Isshi she has a flashback with Kyan and herself running Thet were close friends

Isshi does her best time but Akira wants to leave even with them wanting her to have a bite to eat / then they want to go where she works and she is rude to them telling them no

In another flashback her abkle is taped becayse it feels off Coach tells her not to overdo it . Kyan gas borrowed a starter pistol and as Akira is running it goes off startling her ans she misteps injuring her foot

t looks like she has a hard recovery and that is when she met Kondo with the free coffee

Akira is walking through a downpour and ends up at the diner Kondo tries to ask whats wrong and begging her to come inside Akira says again I like you and walks away this time Kondo gets it

Kondo wonders how to handle the situation as Akira comes back

Akira acts normally and Kondo thinks it night have been a prank and cant be real

But Akira declares agauin she likes him and wants to know how he feels

Kondo offers to drive Akira to the Train Station because of her foot / it's raining / and to what she said

Kondo goes I cant give you an answer Akira says why / to start he is 45 and that will look bad / Akira objects who cares about anybody else

Damn. after The Rain... totally working that title. Maybe because of my real life experiences, or maybe just some sort or intrigue in this subject matter as a whole, but I am really getting into this show. It's just lucky that it also has amazing visuals, music, and backdrops in so many scenes.

Akira's friends from track are also cute. I just wish she would open up to them more. I know she's hurting and troubled by things out ofher control, but that's all the more reason to have friends around.

Next week we get a date episode?
Excellent

This is good stuff even with the awkward premise. Poor Akira looks like it's still too painful to be around her old life, it's obvious her injury just completely changed her outlook on life but I'm still not getting how that lead her to find her boss attractive. It can't just be the coffee thing and trying to comfort her, oh well this is so well done I'm sure we'll get into that too. Also geez is this guy a dork.

Nice episode, for sure. I really enjoyed seeing her old track life and her old best friend among the raining backdrop. The whole episode was very poetic as she continues to work through so many things emotionally.

Looks like Aimer's youtube channel has the single being released on 2/21 for those that were wondering like I was.

Also congrats to Mayuzuki-sensei for winning Shogakukan's Best General Manga award. After the Rain is on a good run.

The show is doing a fine job so far handling what may or may not happen between these two. So far it's 1 of the few shows this season I really look forward to seeing re how the anime is going to treat these two be they lovers / smitten individuals / two old souls wearing young skin who have at least a quarter century age disparity in present day chronological terms.

She feels she doesn't fit with her peer group even though they are not displaying any animosity otherwise. She appears tired of child-like activities. The 45 year old, even though divorced, acts mature, stable. Almost everyone in her peer group is not...really. The future for high school students is cradled in a minefield riddled with uncertainty. What am I going to do past school, past exams? Is college a good decision? It's a world of ambiguity fraught with issues real and imaginary grappling with life's presupposed hurdles.

He represents an island of tranquility in her eyes atm. Hopefully, episode 4 may shed more light for us on this idea / illusion / wish fulfillment.

Stay tuned....

Episode 4

A love triangle is apparently in the works here as Kase has Akira in his sights. This comes after he finds out by accident that Akira is after Kondo for her love interest. So this turns into a date where Akira sees the same "boring" movie twice. First, it's with Kase, and he's being quite a jerk there as he just wouldn't leave Akira alone when she had some business to attend to. She only went on the date because otherwise Kase would have spilled the beans about the relationship. And then comes the date with Kondo when they are both supposed to be off, and while it went much better, it ended prematurely when Kondo was unexpectedly called back to the restaurant. Kase needs to realize that if he was serious about Akira, this is the way not to do a date. In the meantime, the relationship continues, but at some point the two will have to seriously address the age gap.
