Also you're 22. I don't want to rude, but are you sure you just don't want to get laid instead?

Positive on that part
Working on the rest

Awesome. Being funny, also helps btw.

Yeah, that's not happening

Idk if anyone else has pointed this out to you(sorry I'm lazy and didn't read every response), but having an ahegao picture in your intro post probably isn't helping attract women? I understand you might not be looking for a gf in this thread specifically, but there's a very specific type of humor that that would appeal to.

If you're looking for someone to share your life with, think about the things you want to share with her. What things are important to you in a woman? What things are complete deal breakers? Relationships suck sometimes, and even things that seem like small annoyances can be magnified in intensity the longer it goes on. Once you have determined the type of woman you are looking to attract, think about what she, in turn, might be looking for.

I like dating apps, honestly. Having a profile as a starting point helps immensely when coming up with conversation topics AND helps you immediately weed out options. It would be good practice as well, as long as you don't take it super seriously. The best thing about the internet is if something gets too intense or isn't going in the direction you want, you can delete your profile and walk away.

Like any other situation you're applying for(college, jobs), if you don't have a lot of experience in that area, you can break down your general experience into qualities that get noticed anywhere, like Confidence or Attention to Detail. Focus on things you already have or skills you've picked up elsewhere that might aid you in your new goal. You're probably in a better position than you think!

You're still young, and I know it's scary, but try to relax as much as you can. This is coming from someone who is 26 and single so I know it sucks.

That's the general picture I default to when I jump into something with a "fuck it, just do it, just put it out there and see what happen's" topic. And appealing to the right people is the appoint. As mentioned, relationships by themselves aren't the thing; it's the people.

I read somewhere men usually look to settle down in their early 20s and the urge to diminishes as they get older. Don't take my word for it. This is something I heard in passing - Women are the opposite and usually want to settle down nearing their 30s... Will that help in hunting for the right woman for you?
All the best.

Heh, I just read the part about the relationship being secondary to finding someone with shared interest

I will leave the content from my original post just in case it helps.
