First season of Show by Rock!! is very good! It's nice to see a music anime with actual music. (and its quite good music as well! (The boys rock group has my favourite song))

They're not "new" anime, they are "old" ones, with already (limited) established licensing rights being inherited from Funimation, who at the time of acquisition was only interested in serving the USA. The rights for other countries are held by other companies, and/or are just not available for CR to pick up.

To save yourself future pain, you may as well skip reading any title announcements containing the word "Catalog"; those mostly aren't going to be available in countries where English is not the primary language (and not even all of the ones where it is). It is only the simulcasts just being newly produced each quarter in Japan where CR will be able to negotiate for world-wide licensing (except Asia).

while Origins Spirits of the Past is a ok film, the first five minutes is probably one of the best scenes in anime, i highly recommend that you at least watch that.

I'd really like to believe that this means CR will start adding more older Detective Conan episodes but it's probably them just shuffling over more of Funi's licenses. I can still dream though!

Cannot recommend red garden highly enough. Same for Spice and wolf and good luck girl, but Red Garden simply does not get enough love.

@mitamaking It looks like Funimation licensed it three years after it aired. I guess it had originally been here via a different deal not involving Funi? https://www.funimation.com/blog/2012/04/06/funimation-entertainment-announces-new-acquisitions-at-sakura-con/
