So Crunchyroll has recently released Detective Conan/Case Closed episodes from 1-130.

As soon as I started watching, I have noticed various...shortcomings.

These include:

- The episode numbers, descriptions, and titles are from the Case Closed Dub.
This won't confuse anyone at all, right?
- They use the full versions of Openings and Endings' songs instead of the TV version, so the songs are off-sync with the animation. This ruins great Openings like 3 and 4.
- Other smaller things like using Funimation's "Junior Detective League" instead of "Detective Boys" in the subtitles.

This is what I've noticed so far.



If Crunchyroll is planning to release the rest of the episodes then they *have* to fix all these things first to stay consistent with the episodes they released prior to this mess.

I'm mostly blaming Funimation for this, as they've treated this series very poorly since the beginning and I'm assuming the episodes were provided by them (since they show the Funimation logo at the beginning of each episode). They still haven't improved their practices with Detective Conan/Case Closed and they've had the license for episodes 1-123 for over a freaking decade now.



TL;DR Please fix this, Crunchyroll.

This is all because CR got these rights from FUNimation and just ported over what FUNi had in the way FUNi had it. I'm not sure if they can really change anything due to that tbh.

Also, you need to email CR support to let them know how you feel about this because they don't read the forums for the most part and this will go unnoticed here in all likelihood.
