5. POTENTIAL WINNER NOTIFICATION: The potential GP Winner will be contacted via Twitter Direct Message or Instagram Direct Message on or about February 20th, 2018. The potential Winner will be required to respond as directed to the notification WITHIN 24 HOURS or the Entrant may be disqualified and a new potential winner will be selected according to the scores assessed by the Judging Panel during the Judging Period, who will be subject to disqualification in the same manner. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify anyone not fully complying with the Official Rules. The potential Winner will be required to verify address and complete, sign, and return within seventy-two (72) hours an affidavit of eligibility or declaration of eligibility/compliance (as applicable), a liability release, and, unless prohibited by law, a publicity release and other legal documents as may be required by Sponsor in its sole discretion (collectively, the "Prize Claim Documents") covering eligibility, liability, advertising, publicity and media appearance issues. Failure to return the Prize Claim Documents within the specified time period may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of the individual who submitted the Submission that received the next highest number of points as a new potential winner (and who will be subject to disqualification in the same manner). In the event that the potential winner is a legal resident of Canada, before being declared a winner he or she must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, to be administered at a mutually convenient time by telephone. Failure to correctly answer the skill-testing questions within the time period provided will result in disqualification and selection of the individual who submitted the Submission that received the next highest number of points as a new potential winner (and who will be subject to disqualification in the same manner).

Sorry, why is it that only Canada has to answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, and if they fail to answer correctly, then they get disqualified? Sorry but that is idiotic. What does maths have to do with any of this...

This is a legal requirement to run a sweepstakes in Canada!

Fair enough, but how difficult is the math question? Is there anything saying it has to be something extremely hard or can it be something as simple as 2+2, and as long as we answer it correctly in the time frame we are good?

https://www.thebalance.com/why-have-skill-testing-questions-for-sweepstakes-896839

The Canadian courts have agreed that a four-part mathematical test such as "155 plus 33 minus four divided by 2" is enough to qualify as a skill-testing question, as long as winners are not allowed to use a calculator or other aid to answer the question.

But many contests use even easier three- or two-part tests for their skill testing questions.

It kinda bites that the contests lately are about hastags, twitter and instagram. It's a cute idea, but limiting to some fans.

My printer is out of ink. Can I just display the photo on my phone as I take the picture?

@ATELIER_ Looks like while changing the deadline from the 15th to the 22nd, they forgot to change the estimated contact date. If it's still five days after the contest ends, it'll be about February 27 now.

I finally live somewhere gorgeous for a contest like this but the weather has been rainy for almost the entire contest period! On top of that, the image they provided for the contest contains a copyright in the corner. I tried to get it printed but they refused to print it because of the copyright. I told them I could edit it out on my phone in a half second, but she said it is still copywritten so she won't print it. I went to the library instead, but that resulted in a 3cm black and white image that I tried to accent with marker a bit... Hopefully that doesn't disqualify me. I did my best!

@DemonFaerie Yeah, print shop employees are trained to be jerks like that because of the fear of lawsuits. My dad couldn't reprint a photo of himself as a baby in like 1950, that was taken in a studio in the Philippines.

Fortunately Snapfish doesn't seem to care what I print, and Chinese "silk" poster printers on eBay care even less....

Quick question! It says 1 entry per person, but does that mean one entry on either Instagram or Twitter, or if I want to post on both medias, one entry per Instagram and Twitter?

It says it is limited to one entry during the sweepstakes period, so that means only one entry, either Twitter or Instagram.

Thanks, I was wondering what was happening. Crunchyroll retweeted my entry on the 20th and I thought they were annoncing I was a winner. Way to get my hopes up haha.

I took a picture of them on a swing together in a nice park!
