When I made the topic "I feel extremely lonely" I was having one of my depressive episodes. Let me reassure you I'm not in imminent danger of suicide and my attempts are very very infrequent. If anyone was worried too much there is no need. I reassure you that it is hard to commit suicide. I would like to let people know i am in therapy and am soon to be working with a group who will help me find a job that suits me well where I can be happy I suppose to make up for the years I was disabled. Thank you so much for your support. I do appreciate it. I pray that people worldwide can be given greater peace and will turn away from suicide and to God who whether you think so or not is the best cure for this. I have found frustration because I've been stuck for a long time. Often times things have gotten far worse and it's hard to appreciate the good things in life but lately I feel a little better despite it all. Again, much thanks for your support.

Be proud of the progress and steps you are taking. The burden of depression can be immensely heavy, and so being able to keep moving forward is difficult enough as is, let alone climbing the mountain of self improvement.

2018 is the year of self care. Make sure you take all your meds and go to all of your therapy sessions. Make the most out of them, as well, and you'll be able to say you've accomplished something very difficult.

sadly suicide is easier than one might think, thus why there is such a large static. I'm glad you haven't fallen prey to the static as well. it's not an easy climb and there will be times you will fall back into said pit, but don't despair there will come a time when the pit is but a distant memory. it takes time to recover and regain yourself and life back. just go slow and steady and at your own pace, too fast and you could fall further into said pit. in my opinion, I have found it helpful to creep out of depression by, yes, forcing myself to do something. granted it never lasts very long when I feel depressed, but the less you think and dwell on it the better you'll feel.

I hope your depression disappears like all the chocolate around me! Good luck! It's not easy to admit you are depressed and need help.
