The title kind of explains it all byt I have crunchyroll on PC and after watching an episode when I go to watch the next one crunchyroll closes itself. I'm not sure why this is happening,so if anyone knows any fixes please let me know.

When you say its crashing, what do you mean? The streamer is breaking? or your browser is crashing.

The same thing happens to me! Basically I have the app, and when i go to the next episode the whole app just closes. So I'll watch episode A, go to episode B, a few seconds will play and the whole app closes and I have to re open it.

Ah good so this isn't just an issue with my PC then.

Started encountering this problem wednesday when I tried catching up on One Piece. After an episode it starts loading the next one then the app shuts down completely and has to be restarted again. This happens regardless of whether I skip to the next episode or let it load automatically.


UPDATE: Backing out to my queue just before the episode ends and then starting the next episode from there does NOT cause the problem, so it's apparently an issue with the autoplay.

Huh, thats really interesting! That makes it easier, though i hope they still fix it soon!
And the same thing happened to me but I was catching up on gintama and it started happening lol

Since update, I can confirm the app does crash randomly. It's.... frustrating.

I have a choice. Either I deal with the gig + of ram it uses on Foxfire thanks to shockwave sucking, or it crashes after 15-20 minutes on app.

have to add a plus 1 on crashing, My system is a 3 month old Surface Pro, Win10 64 bit, using the Crunchyroll App from the Windows store. Had no problems until the last 2 updates within 1 week, thought the latest update would cure the problem but no luck. My issue is that when the next show loads on autoplay, only a few minutes will play and the app freezes and then crashes completely, leaving the screen. There are NO error messages from windows or the app. Just as if it was never running.
I can restart the app immediately and resume from where it crashed. I also have an Original Surface Po with less memory that does the same thing. I have not tried with the Desktop but I will wager it will do the same.
Please fix this as it is quite annoying...

PS: forgot to add, if I jump past the beginning, on a series that I am familiar with, it may crash as well.

Yup this happens to me as well, Every . Single. Time.

This app seriously sucks compared to accessing through browser, but for me that freezes about a minute in and no amount of help from CR support has fixed that issue. As a paying customer its sad that i have to use a shitty app that wont' stay full screen, crashes, doesn't have any options AT ALL. FFS the app on my phone is way better than the windows app...

They have to know, I for one have sent feedback to them directly and posted the issue when reviewing the app. And the thing is I don't think this issue should be very hard to fix they just have to actually try to fix it. Who knows I could be off base on that it, just seems fixable and I know they know about it is all.

Well if its so easy to fix why don't they fix it already and put the patch out because its getting annoying. i know this is a new app but alot of people use it and they could lose some people over it and i don't want that.
