What is the weirdest trope in anime you have ever seen? For myself its when characters clothes rip off and disintegrate when someone touches them (usually female characters).

Incestual Dispositions; I've seen quite a few shows in the mainstream media that portray some familial relationships as borderline sexual if not fully implied.

Pedos.

Even a show about babysitters will include a character who gets aroused around kids.

For me it's sort of the flipside of that. It's not the pedos but the extremely large number of child characters that are specifically designed and portrayed in a sexualized manner to the point where there actually are even entire harems of pretty much nothing but lolis.

The flipside is still the same coin

But, yeah. I'm not even sure in the abstract if acknowledging that people have those proclivities is better or worse. (While I called them out on it, School Babbysitters does show that people with those tendencies don't always act on them.)

When the show just has "fun" with lewding the loli (e.g. Magical Index) it's just... concerning.

14-16 year olds living by themselves because their parents are working overseas.

Girls who beat the living crap out of people at school and never seem to get in trouble.

Also characters who treat the person the want to like them like absolute crap and then end up surprised when that person has no idea they are liked by the person who treats them like crap.

When males harass a trap, like what happened in Himegoto.

Congrats. That's two layers of offensive.
