Okay so. I have a 9 year old who loves watching anime even with subs. It doesn't bother her. So we have the crunchyroll app on her PS3 I put the mature content filter on videos on my account. And yet it still comes up with really inappropriate shows. Not to mention there's no obvious age rating in the descriptions. One can look safe. And then find out ten mins into the show that it's certainly not safe for kids..
Am I missing something? Or does crunchyroll not really care about catering for parents who's kids like to watch anime..

CR is PG-13 for the most part, even though there is much more adult-oriented content here. There are children's shows available, but that isn't the focus of the site (it is to get as much of all available anime as it can). In the /tos, it directly states you must be 13 to be a member here, so you should be actively monitoring anything your child watches... There isn't any way to filter the site for children to watch un-monitored.

But you have to be a certain age to get a Netflix account too yet they have an option for kids regardless.. there really should be an option for parents to allow kids to browse safely the shows that are PG.
So far every show I've clicked on apart from a few, seem safe enough on the main pic and the description doesn't give away that it shows mature content.( Even tho I have the filter on) yet it's full of mature content... Just doesn't make much sense..

Thank you for your reply anyway. I do see your point. It's just frustrating..

IKR actively monitoring your child must be hard,

being fussy about something is easier
