Be aware posts out side of the iOS help area about this issue will be removed deleted and result in user ban as explained by Lorreen the moderator in a email just sent me. I would like to officially apologize for posting off topic. Due to the lack of response from the help section regarding this issue. I as a long term member thought it might be the ONLY way to get a real response to this issue. I did and it said my posts will be deleted! My user interface will be banned from posting ever on this sight. I was shocked by the tone! I am not the only user affected by this iOS app break after the Apple software upgrade came out. The forums show this to be true. Also it’s strange logging out of my account allows second seasons to work from the drop down. Log in and it crashes when clicked on. Clearly linked to my account seeing as I reset the iPad to factory specs loaded it as new and re downloaded the app. Cleared the devices from crunchyrolls web site before downloading app again only to log in and same issues.

I did get a response from the help email i sent. It was a generic do the above fix and had no time frame for a app update to clear this issue. Clearly other users are being affected by this issue and seen by the forums. I am now aware of the drastic steps the moderators will take for anyone posting this issue off topic areas attempting to get more than a generic response. I will be more aware in the future of these policies.

Thank you,

Here's the thing. The help forums are primarily for user to user assistance. If the problem is an actual software problem that needs to be resolved by Crunchyroll fixing something then reviving many posts on the topic doesn't serve a very constructive purpose. You're just making a lot of noise about something that Crunchyroll probably is working on a fix for. While some may appreciate your venting and publicizing the problem, other users are going to see it as annoying spam.

But, even so, as far as I know, none of your posts on iOS related help threads, or even iOS related site news threads were deleted. I only deleted those posts and comments you made in places where they were not on topic--and those came to my attention because other users reported them--they didn't want to see your kvetching all over the place.

Also, there is nothing that I, as a moderator, can do to assist in getting this problem resolved for you. We volunteer moderators are more likely than paid staff to see your off-topic posts and comments, but our role is to assist with basic forum and comment housekeeping and enforce rules. You've really got nothing to complain about that your comments got the attention they did instead of some magic instant app fix.

Thank you for clearing that up. I hope you are correct someone on the software side is aware of this iOS issue and has been contacted about it seeing as the site is not linked from your statement to the engineer or software coders who woukd be the people needing to fix this ongoing issue for iOS subscribers.
