I've been thinking about getting a VRV premium membership on top of my CR membership. But I wanted to ask those of you who already have or has experienced VRV - Is there more content and choices when getting both? What are the pros and cons really?
And do I have to pay the 9.99 dollars membership for VRV on top of what I am paying for my CR premium membership or how does the payment go?

The thing is your profile says you're in Denmark, does VRV even serve a region outside the US?

From what I gather (since I'm currently in a region where VRV is not available) you can link your CR account with your VRV account so paying for the CR channel on VRV also gives you Premium (not Premium+) benefits on the CR site and apps. This will not sync your queue and history between the services.
VRV only offers monthly subscriptions, if you've been taking advantage of the 12 month sub on CR you'll pay slightly more per month for just the CR channel on VRV, I think just the CR channel on VRV is something like $7/month.
The combo deal for $9.99/month gives you the CR channel and the Funimation channel, so that would give you more content choices at less cost than maintaining a subscription to both CR and Funi separately. Last I heard the Funi channel on VRV did not offer their complete catalog, though. You also can't access the Funimation site with a VRV subscription.
The main advantage of VRV over CR in terms of content on CR is that the VRV app allows you to download episodes for offline viewing.

This is what I get from picking the forum and Google for information, someone who's currently in a region VRV serves will be able to provide hard information.

You really should down load the VRV app. Check the shows and availability of anime’s on it vs Crunchyroll. The VRV app splits anime shows by Funimation and CRunchyroll titles keeping them in two separated areas and clutters the main opening page with non anime offerings. Much of Funimations subtitled shows are totally missing from the VRV app. Leaving only the dub options on VRV. Some users have reported not all CRunchyroll shows are available on VRV. I am not aware if this is a fact I have never compared the two in that way just going by what others have said in the forums. Hope that helps.

Others have pretty much covered it -- while VRV is expected to expand to cover other regions eventually we don't have any firm dates about that, so right now it's US-only (unless they've very recently and stealthily already started availability in other regions).

For additional info for anyone else reading this, there are more "channels" on VRV than just Crunchyroll and Funimation, and the $9.99 per month gets you access to all those channels, but every channel can be subscribed to separately. However, while individual channel prices vary, it's going to generally work out that if there are more than two channels you want access to every month, the $9.99 plan is your best deal. While I haven't explored all of the channels that much, I have found some enjoyable content on some of them.

[The other channels aren't anime content, but some have a non-Japanese animation focus.]

Thank you so much everyone for your information! This helped a lot. And yes a lot of you are correct that I am currently in Denmark and yes VRV does not allow me to watch anime on their platform. But I will soon take an exchange year in Murica so I thought I would want to expand my anime platform so I could get a bigger selection when I am there. Since they don't really offer that big an anime selection here in europe

So what i've understood so far. Is if i get the premium + on VRV (with access to all the channels) I only pay the 9.99 dollars? I won't be charged the 9.99 and whatever I am paying for my crunchyroll premium account on top of it?

You only need to pay once, but you would have to remember to cancel your Crunchyroll account renewal, or you would still get billed twice.

Ellation's new website to either compliment or perhaps some day replace Crunchyroll. It's only available in the USA right now though...
