I just watched the first episode. I will watch the rest of this show later, but for now I got a taste of this show.

Episode 1

Pretty interesting start to this show. So it turns out that Aiko is living in a fake body while her real one is somewhere out there with it broken down or something. Aiko sure is in the dark about a lot of things and it will be interesting to see where things go and what kinds of twists, turns, and other things happen.

Oh hey Dio, didn’t know you were in this anime too.

Was the character designer done by the person who did the designs for Gargantia?

Interesting enough concept, but holy hell did Netflix do a shoddy job with both the Sub and Dub.

Just finished it. This ain't me saying the animation is crap in fact it's pretty decent but for a show that was funded by a multi-billion dollar company I don't know how the quality of the animation dropped towards the end. It's a bit of a shame because this studio Bones at the helm. Interesting concept and I understood most of what is going on but unfortunately the story is kind of all over the place.

Honest 6.5/10.

Just like B: The Beginning the plot is kind of all over the place, only difference is B: The Beginning had consistent high quality animation throughout the entire show.

I really liked it. The ending wrecked me. Cool action, fun character with a great dynamic, an engaging story and a cool art style.

The dub was awful though. Didn't last half an episode and I am someone who will always watch a dub over a sub normally. Hopefully Netflix never uses Iyuno Media Group again for any dub.

That's what happens when they go to Miami to dub it. Everything Netflix has dubbed had been in LA but for some reason, whether it be cost or a gigantic workload, they went to Miami for the dub, and the results are predictably bad. If they couldn't go to LA, they should have looked at going to Vancouver or New York as there's not much going on there. Anyway, the directing is the biggest culprit as names are pronounced a bazillion different ways, all while an non-existent honorific was used. And of course, the voices just don't come out clearly as they are supposed to as it's clear that English wasn't the first language for some of these guys.

Anyway, so far the show has been interesting, but the production values don't exactly meet the high standards that Bones usually has. I'm enjoying it having made it halfway through, but yeah, I was expecting more than what I actually got.

Just finished it, it was alright. Not really a heavy hitter in any area... The sections focused on escorting through the Gorge were cool.

7/10 or so is what I'd say.

Should I watch B the beginning? Or ignore Netflix and stick to amazon's "one of our shows each season is anime of the year material" way of doing things XD. Seriously, amazon is beating Netflix in this anime war right now.

@Phrecklez
B is good, but for one it seems to be geared towards emo shit so that makes it a bit of a niche genre, and this season's ending is kinda ugh idk. Hard to articulate it without spoilers, but prior to the epilogue there's kind of a cliff hanger which gets resolved in a very bizarre, and nonchalant way. Kinda felt like they resolved half of the story line as if it was an afterthought of the other half. You'll see what I mean. Overall though it is really good, and the art, action, and story line is interesting.

@OP
I normally don't like single season anime, but this one was pretty good. I'd say watch it with subs, and not dubs though. The MC's voice is just...

I watched all of "Ergo Proxy" which is incredibly emo like, and I really enjoyed it. It's mostly that it doesn't really pull me in at first glance.
I may or may not try it is all I gotta end with...

Almost halfway through the series, and I'm confused as to why they're taking the river route (the most dangerous route) towards their final destination. Perhaps I'm wasn't paying enough attention to some detail, but couldn't they just walk around the river (through the forest or hiking through the hills - since using an aircraft would likely be too conspicuous)? It seemed like the concentration of Matter was highest on the river; where it presumably used up the water for growth. There should be less Matter on the forest/hills.

Didn't realize that the English dub was shoddy. Been watching the French dub and thought it sounded fine; though some characters did sound a few year older than the actually are.

Finally i managed to finish this. It was good. Nothing too special, but not bad either. It was like watching ID-0 again. Too bad the dub isn't that good.
