Pretty wacky start to this show. I knew things were going to be weird, but man (pun intended) was it so in a big way.

Episode 1

So it begins with Saki and Sakuyo performing a concert in front of nobody, all while Hyoe is hitting it big. And then Saki learns a strange truth about her mother being a retired magical girl, and the one who gave her the contract, the yakuza boss Kokoro. The enemies that attacked Mohiro appear to be just cute creatures from outer space, but in their transformed state they are buffed guys who are quite a handful to deal with. And Saki transforms into a magical girl to save him, only to learn that her transformed state turns her into a guy. Very weird that was.

Episode 2

And the weirdness quotient goes through the roof here with the hairpin grenades, the magical rod that's just an ordinary object used for whacking, and then that tentacled monster that Saki couldn't handle. That led to Sakuyo becoming a magical girl and also becoming a dude in the process. That was really, really weird, but nevertheless it was pretty funny to see it go down.

Can we just nickname this show "Mahou Jojo" already?

I couldn't agree more lol

It was a pretty awkward character debut for the show. It somehow showed the fighting to make it serious although I was face palming myself. I wonder if the show will follow a formula where the transformed magical male/girl will be fighting the bad guys each week.

At any rate, it's still a pretty weird anime so far.

That was a weird mess but in a funny way. Exactly what I wanted this show to be . The pancake-breakfast scene made me laugh a lot more than I want to admit .
I'll probably keep this one. It's a magical girl parody/comedy full of stupid jokes which is something I enjoy a lot .

That's a brilliant nickname . It should be the actual title of the show.

Episode 1-2

This is pretty much making fun of the magical girl genre and what better way than using sailor moon. The first episode had some cringe moments like when Saki and Sakuyo sang their song as it was really bad. How do they expect to get fans with those kinda of songs. Anyways the transformation was funny as Saki didn't expect to transform into a muscle men magical girl. it was really funny how the hair pins turned out to be grenades and any weapon they may use will probably be some type of fire arm? Well her secret wasn't kept that long as her best friend Sakuyo finds out.

The first half of the second episode wasn't that funny but a little annoying when Mohiro's partner showed up. He pretty much makes fun of Saki for being a stalker. We even get a nice flashback and find out how Saki fell in love with Mohiro. However Sakuyo can't support Saki's love as we find out the reason later. Mohiro being attack once again this time by a tentacle demon. I guess they are making fun of hentai here. Well Saki ends up being caught until Sakuyo comes in and rescues her by transforming and confessing that she loves Saki.

I rather support Sakuyo's love for Saki than Saki's love for Mohiro.

Thats Kyubey in disguise lol

So Saki's image of her mother as a Magical Girl was way, way, WAY off.

Oh god their song....Honeyed Flash

Yeah everything about this is a spoof of just about every inch of the magical girl genre, I'm gonna love it

(If you are too young to get the song reference, well check out Cutie Honey Universe when it airs.)

Saki's singing was horrid, Sakuyo's was decent enough.

It's a good thing both 1 & 2 were aired together. Episode 1 was kind of all over the place and was trying too hard. Episode 2 cemented things a bit.

That was a weird, but funny ride. It could become too much after a while, though, so we'll see. It kind of reminded me of Ore ga twin-tails, but reversed.

(Also, those obligatory fan servicey shots when she's in her male form, my eyes, my poor eyes... and the brother who seems more interested in male Saki... poor girl...)

Very funny, although the running with food gag has been done.

10/10. GOTY. Perfect amount of water. Would watch while eating Burger King again.

Also not gonna lie, Saki's pretty cute...

...and her girl form's not half-bad either.

It's nice that her best friend is burning for both her forms. That should ease things later, you'd think.
