I'm surprised you don't provide subtitles for the intros and outros.

I mean I don't speak japanese, and the episodes themselves have it, why not the intros?

Lots of nuance and meaning can come from understanding the intro and outro songs. Please fix?

Thank you

This isn't a lack of effort on CR's part. The opening and closing credit songs have their own licenses separate from the show itself. They're harder to navigate than shows. i.e. more negotiations with the music producing stuidio, the vocalist and what have you. So I think CR doesn't bother.

You're contradicting yourself here. It absolutely IS a lack of effort on Crunchy's part. Yes it's harder than simply subbing the shows, but it can be and has been done. Dagashi Kashi this season and Garo: Vanishing Line last season. And Crunchyroll's competitors and partners do it ALL THE TIME. Amazon, Sentai, and Funimation have subbed OPs and EDs with a much higher rate of frequency than Crunchyroll. They just don't care.

I only had 15 minutes of break time to speak my mind. I really didn't have a chance to proofread and get my thoughts collected properly. If I was contradictory, then I apologize.
My main point was that they're different licenses from the shows themselves and the OP/ED music.

Opening and closing songs are licensed by the show production, and have different requirements (sometimes impossible to meet requirements) to subtitle legally. When possible, CR does get the subtitles, and if they're offered, they're included.

Even if CR has translators that could put up such subtitles (not all shows are subtitled by CR - some are provided by the show), if they're prohibited by the streaming license, they're pretty much stuck. Circumventing a license is a bad idea. Same reason some shows have multiple translations, others don't, or some have uncensored versions, or do for limited times, but others don't.
