CNN = Clown News Network.

You would be better off getting your news from the Onion, at least some parts of it would be true.

I wonder why, are they not into women or...not sexual active?

It's been awhile since I started this topic, in jest btw. People are taking this way too serious. Anyway, I have had some time to ponder it. I wonder if the Japanese still have a strong cultural bias against sex before marriage. I have no idea if this is the case, but if it was so, it would explain a lot, well actually, it would explain everything. The numbers are skewed high because of the high number of never married men and women in the older child bearing ages. I assume women in Japan are like women everywhere. When looking at a marriage prospect, they want a man that can not only pull his own weight, but also support the woman during and after pregnancy plus the children. The Japanese economy has been bad for a good long time, and a lot of men are still living with their parents. They can't seem to make enough money to leave, and I would think from a women's point of view, they are incapable of pulling their own weight. Hence, they don't get married. It would be interesting to look at a similar survey taken during Japan's heyday, when they were purchasing all the golf course in Hawaii and all the skyscrapers in NY and every employee had a job for life. I think those numbers would have been unremarkable.
